Calum
It has been about a week or so since Violet let me down. Let me tell you something, nothing hurts more. I want to be with her so badly. It might have only been a month or more since we met but damn, I'm hooked on her. I want to protect her from the dangers of this cruel world. I want to show her that she's being loved. I want to show her that she's more than important. But I can't.
The boys knew about what happened and I'm grateful that they've been very supportive. They've been there for me and they've consoled me all the way. We've got another gig booked for us in about 3 days. We've been practising really hard but I know I'm not giving it my bestest.
I'm just too bummed about the whole Violet thing. I know I should probably move on but its really hard.Since the day I walked out of her house, I've never seen her. She hasn't answered any of my calls nor my texts.
"Calum," Luke called out, bringing me back to reality and away from my thoughts. I looked up at my blonde friend.
"Want to go out?" He asked.
I just shrugged my shoulders. I wasn't in the mood of leaving the house. All I wanted to do was just sit and think about her.
"C'mon man. You can't just stay here thinking about Violet forever. You need to get out for some fresh air. Just follow me to the grocery store man. We'll be staying over at Ashton's on the day before our gig. We need to get some stuff to munch on for that day," Luke advised me.
I sighed and got up. I went upstairs and changed into something decent. I put on my shoes and met Luke outside.
Luke smiled as he saw me step outside. "I know you miss her man, but its alright," he said giving me a sympathetic smile. I smiled back at him weakly.
Luke tossed me the keys to Ashton's car. I sighed and got into the drivers seat.
Once me and Luke were both buckled up, I drove to the grocery store.

"So do you want coke or pepsi?" Luke asked me.
I shrugged my shoulders. Luke sighed at me. I knew he was growing impatient with my rude behaviour. I instantly felt bad and replied him.
"Pepsi."
Luke smiled at me and took out two large bottles of pepsi and placed it in our cart which contained chips, chocolates, ice cream and now drinks.
"Is that all?" I asked Luke.
"I guess?" He said as he pushed the cart towards the counter.
"You pay and I'll wait outside for you, alright?" I asked Luke.
He nodded to my question and proceed walking towards the counter.
I walked outside of the store and stood there. I took out my pack of cigarettes and took one out. It has been such a long time since I smoked one of these. I stopped smoking when I met Violet. I don't know why though
I placed the cigarette in between my lips and brought my lighter out. I lighted it and placed the lighter back in my pocket. I inhaled a deep breath and let out a puff which included the smoke escaping from my mouth.
Damn I missed this. I missed the taste of nicotine on my tongue. I took another breath in and let another puff out.
I looked around till my eyes fell on something familiar. Something which completely changed my life. I looked inside the store to find that Luke was still in line. I guess it wouldn't hurt if I went and checked it out.
