Calum
Its been over a day or two since the whole incident with Violet happened. All I've been doing is locking myself in my room and waiting for Zayn's call. He had promised me that he'd call once he made sure she was alright but I hadn't even heard a word from him. The only time I'd get out of my room was to practice and even then I couldn't play properly. The huge gig is in about a week and I honestly don't know if we're prepared. I knew I should probably get my head in the right place by the time of the next gig because if I don't then I'd probably ruin everything for them and the band. The boys have been trying their hardest to cheer me up and make me feel better but they knew nothing would work. The only thing that would help me feel better is Violet. I knew that, she knew that, the boys knew that and almost everyone knew that.
The fans have been going mental ever since they saw the picture of me and the bartender kissing. Some of them were really pissed off at me for cheating but there were some who were actually happy at the fact that I cheated on Violet. Some were saying that they knew I was going to cheat on Violet where as some where saying I was probably drunk, which was true. A lot of fans sent me comforting tweets but of course there were also hate. But I didn't let any of the hate affect me.
I heard soft knocks coming from the door which made me get out of my bed and open the door. My blue haired friend stood there looking at me. "Hey, mikey." I said moving as so he could get into my room.
Instead he didn't enter but just stood there. "The boys came over and we might be playing black ops. Wanna join?" he asked. I knew staying in my room all alone would do me no good so why not? "Alright."
I got out of my room and walked over to the room where the boys were in. Ash and Luke were talking about something but then went silent when they saw me. "Hey bud," Ashton smiled. "Sup," I smiled back.
I took a seat in between Ashton and Luke. "Who's team do you want to be on?" Luke asked passing me a controller. A dry chuckled left my lips as I answered him. "You of course? I mean we're the power team." Luke laughed at my humour and decided to join in. "Yeah. We're unstoppable. Ready to lose, bro?" he said looking at Ashton.
Ashton smiled, his dimples showing, "C'mon Mikey. We gotta win this. Show em who's boss." Mikey plopped down beside Ashton and grabbed a controller. "Alright. Let's do this!"
10 minutes later Ashton and Mikey were both sitting on the floor solemnly as me and Luke celebrated our victory. Ashton and Michael had been leading at first but me and Luke made a last minute comeback which brought us to our sweet victory.
"You guys just won by luck," Ashton said pouting. I laughed and ruffled his hair. "Its just a game, mate. Its alright." He looked up at me and smiled. He then looked at both boys and they seemed to be sharing some secret eye contact kind of stuff.
"What?" I asked.
"How's your family?" Luke asked.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Alright?" I hardly talked to my family so I'm not quite sure. I do call Mali twice a week and talk to her but that's it. I haven't been home in quite sometime. Ever since I moved out to live with Mikey, I've only been home about three times.
"Maybe you should go home for sometime," Mikey suggested.
"Why?"
They shared a look once again then looked back at me. "Let's admit it dude, you haven't been yourself ever since this whole Violet thing. Going home might help you know? Spending time with your loved ones and people you know best."
"But you guys are my 'loved ones' too," I said, my fingers forming quotes signs.
"Yeah, but don't you miss miss your mom and dad?" Luke asked.
I did miss them but I didn't know why I was so reluctant to go back to them. I guess that its just been such a long time since I've seen them. Would they even want to see me? I mean I hardly even keep contact with them.
"I do miss them," I said softly.
"Then go see them, mate. You could probably leave tonight and stay there for about two days or more and then come back," Ashton said to me.
"What about practices?" I didn't want to give in so easily. I do want to go home but at the same time I don't.
"It'll be alright, Cal. You can come back before our show and we can have a few practices."
I sighed and looked at my three mates. "I guess I should probably start packing."
Violet
"Who is this guy and why is he in your room holding you?" my mother asked fuming. SHIT. I instantly moved away from Zayn and wiped my tears. "He's a friend," I answered her softly.
"A friend?! What is he doing in your room and when did he even get here? Did he stay the night?" my mother bombarded me with questions. I groaned silently in my head. I turned to Zayn and whispered for him to leave.
I guess its either my mom has super listening skills or my whisper wasn't as soft as I excepted because she heard me. "You heard her boy. Leave."
Zayn looked at me wearily. I nodded at him. If he stayed, things would probably get worst. He reluctantly got up and left the room. Just as he walked past my mother, she glared at him. Once he was out World War literally occurred in my room. The only way it ended was Eliot coming to my side. I spent my time in my room crying and according to Eliot my mom had left. Knowing her, she's probably come back later on.
"What happened to our perfect family, Eliot?" I asked him. We had been in my room ever since the fight and Eliot comforted me the whole time. Eliot sighed and looked at me. "It died ever since mom and dad got pulled into work."
"I miss the old days."
"Me too, Violet. Me too."
It had been hours since everything happened and my mom still hasn't came back. Eliot and my dad went out on a hunt to go find her. I decided this should be the right time to go over to Calum's and apologise. I took a hot shower and washed off all the dried tears on my face. I changed my clothes and got out. I locked the house and got into my car.
The drive to his house wasn't that long since traffic wasn't as bad. I got out and walked over to the front door. My heart was thumping against my chest and I could feel my palms getting sweaty. What if he's pissed off at me? What if doesn't want to listen to my apology? Worst, what if he's moved on? The thought of Calum moving on from me made my heart ache.
I placed three knocks on the door and waited for someone to attend to me. I could hear footsteps and soon the door was swung opened. Green eyes looked down at me. "Violet?" Michael asked confused.
A dry chuckled escaped my lips. "Um,yeah."
"Oh my god! I missed you!" he exclaimed as he hugged me. I instantly felt better and more at ease. "I missed you too, Mikey," I said wrapping my arms around him.
"Who is it?" I heard someone say and then found Luke next to Michael. "Violet!" he shouted as well. Soon all the boys were at the door hugging me. All except one.
"Where's Calum?" I asked them. Three boys shared a look among each other and then answered me.
"He went home."
NOTE// Heeyy. Yeah it was a short chapter but I did it really fast because I gotta study. I've had a really long weekend and um yeah. Haha. Vote and comment :D
