VIOLET

I drove back home, my mind swirling with thoughts. Zayn's dad had just passed away. Calum and the boys has got something going on with the band. What else is there to happen? I kept my eyes on the road, making sure to watch where I'm going. There's no need for another accident.

I made it to my house safely, my mind still buzzing. I could see my parent's car parked at the porch of the house and all I could hope for was to not bump into them. The last thing I need right now is answering their questions. I took a deep breath, bracing myself for the worst.

I made my way in silently, hoping no one would notice me but my prayers were rejected when I laid eyes on my mom. She was flicking through her health magazine and took a glance at me, not saying a word. Is she actually just going to ignore me? I made my way upstairs slowly, waiting for my mom to call me out but she didn't. Well this is different.

I made my way up fast and got into my room, making sure to lock the door. I slipped my phone out of my pocket, realising that I hadn't gotten any calls or texts from Cal. I pressed on the lock button only to find out that my phone has ran out of battery. I guess that explains the lack of texts and calls. I plugged in the charger and left my phone on the night stand, leaving it to charge for a bit before using it. I quickly changed into something comfortable and tucked myself in bed.

I turned on my phone to find several calls and messages from Calum and Ashton. Guess he must've been worried sick. I texted Cal a quick text, just to let him know that I was fine.

Violet: Hey Cal. Sorry I wasn't able to answer your calls or reply your texts. My phone died and it has been on hell of a day. I've got loads to tell you. And I'm sure you've got loads to tell me too. Can we meet up anytime soon? Love you. xx

I immediately dozed off after sending Calum that text, not waiting for his reply.

Calum

We've spent the whole day understanding and agreeing to how everything works. Of course we've also made changes to the agreements with a little help from Luke's mom. Alex has been really nice to us, trying his bestest to compromise to everything we've said. His team needed us to perform for them so we've planned out to meet up  in a few days again. The rest would be planned out after that.

By the time the meeting was done it was already past 7:30pm. I hadn't gotten any texts or calls from Violet and it was starting to worry me. Maybe she didn't want to disturb me? Or is she busy? I didn't know what happened but I hope she's fine. I sent her a text hoping she would reply but several minutes passed and there still nothing.

"Calum?" I heard someone call out my name.

"Yeah?" I turned around, finding everyone staring at me.

"I was planning on taking everyone out for a little treat. Would you like to join us?" Liz invited. I genuinely didn't feel up to it but I knew it would only be polite to agree and tag along. It didn't feel right though, something felt wrong and the fact that Violet hasn't answered any of my calls makes my stomach churn.

"Yeah sure," I faked a smile as I hoped into the car with the boys. Liz didn't take us to some fancy restaurant but just to an ordinary one. Me and the boys all ordered something for a reasonable price since Liz was going to be the one paying for us.

The food got served really quickly and the boys dug in quickly, not even sparing a second. I played around with my food a little, not wanting to eat it. The food did look appetising but something inside of me didn't feel right. Something has been bothering me badly and its driving me insane that I can't put a finger on it. I eventually started eating my food before anyone asked me something. I should be thrilled not sitting here feeling down.

Eventually everyone was done with their food and we were all set to leave. Soon enough Liz dropped me and Michael off at our house. We thanked her multiple times for accompanying us and also for the dinner.

I went right up to my room, wanting to be alone for a while. The silence in the room was cut off when my mom started calling. Deep down I really wanted to reject the call but I knew that wouldn't be right. She just wants to know what happened and plus I shouldn't be taking out my problems on her.

I spent the next hour or so explaining everything and talking to her. She was thrilled to know about what's happening and honestly talking to her had lifted my mood up a lot. Its always a good thing to talk to your mom when you're down. They'd immediately cheer you up without even knowing. As I hung up the phone, I got a message from Violet. My heart finally felt as if it was in peace knowing that she's fine. I read the message out, hoping she's fine.

Violet: Hey Cal. Sorry I wasn't able to answer your calls or reply your texts. My phone died and it has been on hell of a day. I've got loads to tell you. And I'm sure you've got loads to tell me too. Can we meet up anytime soon? Love you. xx

One hell of a day? Is everything alright? I suppose it is since she's texting me, right? My mind kept on swirling with thoughts but I decided to reply her a quick message before I forgot.

Cal: Hey, sunshine. Everything alright? What happened? I hope you're doing fine. Sure can we meet up tomorrow after your school? Love you too, baby. xx

After sending that message, I waited a few minutes for her reply. But there was nothing so I assumed that she fell asleep. With that I placed my phone to charge and decided to fall asleep myself.

NOTE// There you go! An update after 3/4 months!! I know this isn't long and probably isn't one of the best chapters but I'll get back on track soon enough. :)
