Violet
Me and my brother sat in our living room, eating the mac and cheese our maid, also known as Rosie, made. She's a great cook so everything she makes always ends up tasting good. Even Rosie was glad to see Eliot home.
"So what are you actually doing here, Eliot? Aren't you supposed to be at uni now?" I asked him.
"Well, I came back to take care of my little sister," he smiled to me cheekily.
I rolled my eyes at him and said, "Well if that's the case, then you've been doing that for the past 16 years. Now seriously, why?"
"Well I'm actually having break now. So I decided to come home since I know you're always lonely here."
I smiled at him and said, "Thank you."
He smiled back at me and said, "Okay! Now, let's watch some movie or something."
☆☆☆
It was past midnight once the movie ended. We were both really tired so we went to bed straight away.
The next morning, I woke up feeling really sore from what happened yesterday. I chose to ignore the pain and be happy that my brother is back. I got into the shower and cleaned up. I changed into a pair of sweatpants and a tank top.
I walked downstairs to find my brother already awake. He saw me walking down the stairs and said, "Okay, since I'm home now, we're not going to be lazy pigs and just rot at home. Each morning, we're going for a jog."
I groaned and said, "What? Why? We have a gym here."
"Well, going out is much better than exercising at home, Vi. Now go get changed and hurry up!"
I rolled my eyes at him and went up to change my clothes. I wore a pair of black shorts and a sports bra. I took my phone and my earphones just in case. I tied my hair up into a ponytail and looked at myself in the mirror. You could clearly see the bruises from yesterday. I decided to wear a shirt also just to cover the bruises.
I walked downstairs and we started our jog. We jogged from our house till the park nearby. It was probably about 5 blocks. Once we reached the park, we were both out of breath. Eliot went to a small stall near by to go get us some water. I just stood around waiting for him.
I looked around and saw a red haired dude. This couldn't be him. I took a closer look and yeap, it was Michael. If he was here, I bet Calum was here too. I turned away from him so he couldn't recognize me.
I guess I was wrong when I heard Calum call my name. "Violet! Hey!" I turned around and smiled at him. His mood visibily changed by looking at the condition of my face. "What happened?" He asked while touching my cuts. I couldn't bare looking him in the eye.
"Violet, are you okay?" He asked me once again. I nodded my head but didn't say anything.
"Please speak to me. Why didn't you call me? I called you numerous times yesterday. I'm sorry I left the house without telling you. We had an emergency band meeting."
Emergency band meeting? How could I have been so judgemental? Even mikey was missing yesterday. Calum wouldn't do that to me. What was I thinking?
"I don't know why I didn't call. I just..I just though that maybe you ditched me on purpose or something. Im sorry," I said, looking to the ground, completely ashamed of myself.
Calum sighed and said, " Its okay, love. Just know that I would never do that, okay? Please do call me if something like this ever happens again. Please."
I nodded and finally looked up at him. He had a snapback on and his peircings. Ink covered his body and he wore a white shirt. He looked darn good. Calum's eye darted to something behind me. I turned behind and saw Eliot jogging up to me.
Eliot passed me my bottle and looked at Calum. "A friend of yours?" He asked me. I nodded.
"Eliot, this is Calum. Calum, my brother, Eliot."
They shook hands and stood there awkwardly. I played with the cap of my bottle and finally decided to break the silence. "So, I guess we should head back home, Eliot. I'll talk to you later, Calum."
Calum hugged me and said goodbye to both me and Eliot. As we were jogging back, Eliot asked me something I knew he would. "So who is he?"
I sighed and explained everything to Eliot.

Once we got home, the sweet smell of bacon filled my nostrills. I quickly walked into the kitchen only to find Rosie cooking us breakfast. "Are you hungry, Violet?"
I nodded eagerly and went to sit down. Not long after, Eliot joined us. Rosie served us breakfast and we all ate together. After breakfast, I decided to go up to take a good shower. Once I was done with my shower, I laid down on my bed and switched on the TV in my room.
I took out my phone and turned it on. There was a number of calls from Calum. I honestly feel so bad for what I did to him. I decided to text him and apologize to him.
"Hey Calum. I'm honestly sorry for thinking such a way. I really am."
"Hi Vi. Its okay. Trust me. I'm just glad you're safe. If any of those assholes touch you again, call me okay."
"Will do. And hey! No swearing!!'
"Okay mom, I'm sorry."
And so the day went on like that.
