Violet
"That I like you."
Those words kept ringing in my ears. Bouncing from wall to wall in my head. My brain trying its hardest to process what Zayn had just said.
"That I like you."
It goes on and on in my head.
I looked up at Zayn to find him staring off into space, his hand resting on a table trying to keep himself up and balanced. He's wasted and he's probably just joking. He doesn't even know what he's talking about.
"No Zayn you don't like me," I told him, convincing myself more than him.
"No, I do," he slurred. He tried moving forward but he lost his balance and almost hit the floor. My arms snaked to his waist to keep him up. I leaned him up against the table so he could gain balance again.
"Thanks," he whispered.
I looked up to find brown caramel eyes looking down at my green ones. We were standing undeniably close. My hand still wrapped around his waist, our faces inches away from each other. I could feel Zayn moving closer, trying to close the space between us. I could feel his hot breath hovering over my lips. My eyes flickered from his and down to his lips. His lips looked so kissable but I know I shouldn't. I can't.
"Violet, can I?" he asked, softly.
I inhaled sharply. I wanted to kiss him so bad. But I can't. I let out the breathe I took in and stepped away. "I'm sorry, Zayn," I told him, not even looking him in the eye.
Zayn let frustrated grunt.
"I'm sorry. You know I'm with Calum," I tried explaining to Zayn.
He ran his fingers through his thick jet black hair and tugged on the roots.
"Violet he cheated on you!" Zayn exclaimed.
My eyes widened at his sudden change of tone. "Zayn!" I hissed. I didn't want Eliot waking up and finding Zayn in my room. Worst, if my parents found me in a room with a guy who's completely wasted.
Zayn just rolled his eyes and sat down on my bed.
I sighed once again. "Look Zayn, you've been drinking and you're not yourself right now. Can we please talk about this tomorrow?" I asked him, hoping he would agree.
He lifted his head to look at me. "Violet, I do know what I'm talking about."
"Zayn, if you remember about this tomorrow morning then we'll talk about it okay? Its really late and I need to get to bed. You can stay here the night."
Zayn looked as if he wanted to say more but he didn't He agreed on staying here and slept on the floor while I slept on the bed. I felt really bad for giving him the floor but I can't let him sleep on the bed incase my parents or Eliot walks in.
I got all tucked in in bed and just as I was about to fall back asleep I wished Zayn goodnight. He replied me with a muffled answer and we both drifted off into slumber.

Zayn
Soft knocks were heard from the door. I shifted slightly and felt my whole body aching. Its then when I realised I'm on the floor. What am I doing on the floor? I opened my eyes and instantly regretted it. My head was spinning and I felt as if I was going to puke.
"Violet?" I heard someone say as the door squeaked open.
Violet? Why is Violet here? Where am I even?
