I've spent two days of detention sitting here and talking aimlessly with Zayn. Louis and Harry would usually sneak out and slip right back in without the teacher noticing anything. "Do you really want to sit in there and do nothing?" Zayn asked as we walked towards the class. I shrugged my shoulders because I wasn't quite sure. I mean the idea of skipping was quite tempting but at the same time if we were to get caught then that would just put us into more trouble than we already are.

"We could give it a shot you know? I promise I would get you in before you get into more trouble," Zayn said.

Should I do this?

I sighed and eventually agreed. A huge smile spread across Zayn's face. "We'll leave after those two leave," Zayn said as Louis and Harry came into view.

Me and Zayn sat at the back of class like always and waited for the normal routine to take place. The teacher came in, told us to do our own stuff and then left. Harry and Louis climbed out the window and left. Five minutes later Zayn turned and looked at me. "You ready for this?"

I honestly wasn't but its worth a shot.

I nodded and got out of my seat.

Zayn walked over to the window and looked out. We were about 5 to 10 feet away from the ground. We could obviously survive a jump. But I wasn't so keen on the idea of jumping out the school window. Zayn looked at me then said, "Alright, I'll jump out first and then you jump okay? I'll catch you. I promise."

Zayn gave me the most sincere smile I've ever seen which made me instantly trust him. I gulped and nodded. Zayn climbed out the window and then jumped out. He made it seem so easy and simple. But at the same time he always does this so I shouldn't be so surprised.

Once he made contact with the ground he turned up and looked at me. He signaled me to jump down because if he were to shout then we would get caught.

I put my leg on the out of the window and stood on a small platform which was outside the window. I balanced myself first foot as I took the other one out. Zayn signaled me to jump and I knew I had to hurry up. I took a deep breath in and closed my eyes and eventually jumped. I fell into Zayn's arms and opened my eye. Zayn was smiling down at me and soon put me back down on my feet. "That wasn't so bad was it?" Zayn asked.

I just smiled at me and walked beside him. "We'll take my car okay?" Zayn asked. I nodded and followed behind him. We had small talk and made up our mind to get to the mall. "Where do you and the boys usually go when you skip detention?" I asked Zayn as he drove out of the parking lot.

He shrugged his shoulder and answered me. "We usually head to a bar to drink and smoke and then just leave."

Should have guessed it.

"But I don't drink anymore," Zayn said.

"Why?" I asked turning and looking at him. His eyes never left the road as he answered me.

"Well drinking is obviously bad for health," he chuckled then continued.

"Plus if anything were to happen to me while I'm into this whole drinking thing then my sister's wouldn't have anyone to turn to. Like my parents are honestly shit so the only person they've got now is each other and me."
I smiled to myself. Zayn is obviously trying to change and I'm honestly so proud of him. He's being considerate of others and not only himself. He see's that his actions can actually hurt others.

The rest of the car ride was silent other than the radio playing.

Zayn pulled up in the parking lot and got out. I got out and waited as he locked the car and walked into the mall with him. We walked in and went straight to a yogurt store to get some yogurt. We both ordered our yogurt and waited for it. "So how much time do we have to kill?" I asked Zayn as I took a seat down on one of those plush chairs. He checked his watch and said, "Well we have about an hour to kill minusing the time it would take us to drive back and sneak in."
