Horse Stables
It was a cold and windy morning, a shivering and sneezing Aqua sat in front of a small burning fire that was barely lit and was about to get extinguished. She wore her pink hagoromo for the little warmth it provided.
Aqua: AACHOO! So cold... I pawned my coat, too. it's so cold... I wish Y/n was here, we could have cuddled for heat...
The wind picked up and quickly put out Aqua's little source of warmth.
Aqua: N-No! T-The fire!
She grabbed a familiar green tracksuit that laid beside her and almost placed it into the small remaining embers.
Aqua: There.
It almost caught on fire until...
*Smack*
Kazuma: Hey, what's the big idea!? Quit screwing around! What do you think you're doing to my only memento of Japan!?
He protectively wraps his arms around his old tracksuit.
Aqua: *rubs her head* I don't have a choice!
Aqua: There's nothing left to burn!
Kazuma began to yank on Aqua's hagoromo.
Kazuma: Then why don't you hand over that raiment then! It looks like it would burn better than a tracksuit!
Aqua: Waah! Let go you shut in NEET!
They start playing tug of war, Aqua getting teary eyed and frustrated.
Aqua: Warm me up! Warm me up more!
*Whoosh but not that kind*
The wind blows out the remaining embers of the fire Aqua made, leaving only the feeling of coldness by the snow. They drop what they're doing and Aqua immediately rushes to save what little warmth they had.
Aqua: Whoa, wait! Fuuu~ ha! Fuuuh~ ha!
She fruitlessly attempts to save the burning wood by blowing on it and it works as well as you'd expect causing to Aqua give up and start to weep.
Kazuma just coldly stared at her crying figure and whispered to himself.
Kazuma: I can't go on like this. We need to do something, and fast.
....
Sometime later, Kazuma and Aqua wander through the streets of Axel, Kazuma holding his adventurer's card whilst Aqua shivered and attempted to hug herself for warmth.
Aqua: So cold...
Kazuma: I get it already, we're here now so quit complaining, you useless goddess...
They stopped in front of a dainty looking yee yee ass magic shop that had a welcoming sign and a nicely built door.
Kazuma: Alright, I'll only say this once. Don't throw any tantrums, you hear?
Aqua: What? What're you talking about?
She pouted.
Aqua: What exactly do you take me for? I'm no hoodlum or outlaw. I'm a goddess, a bona fide deity!
