Kazuma made puking noises, the mix of fear and anxiety building up in his entire system metaphorically gushed out, the situation felt familiar, like before you start a group presentation, feeling a bunch of eyes directly pointed at your general direction.
Darkness and Megumin stuck by him and provided some small comfort.
Megumin: Are you nervous? Don't you worry, I'll make that prosecutor cry like a baby in no time.
She said with misplaced confidence.
There were a lot of people surrounding the area, they were witnesses, some of them were even Kazuma's adventuring buddies but none of them were willing to step up to Sena. She was too scary.
Speaking of Sena, behind her was an elderly man who sat behind a table, wore a pompous wig, and is the Judge who will be overseeing this trial.
Kazuma: That's reassuring. So reassuring, and yet...
Looking forward, Kazuma stares at the former water godess with a hopeless kind of gaze, Darkness and Megumin do too. Even in a serious situation like this, Aqua still had the nerve to be an egotist, thinking she'll make things a lot better. Spoiler:
She won't.
Aqua: Hey, you guys can probably leave this to me! *grin*
Kazuma: This one's the problem child.
He stared with an unconvinced look.
???: *clears throat*
Hearing the very much obvious attempt at gathering their attention, Kazuma and the girls turned and saw the man who put Kazuma in trouble in the first place. Well, it was earned, but still.
He had blond hair and a super ugly matching mustache that just screamed pedo, a body similar to moto moto, and eyes that were trained on the girls.
I'm usually wrong on most of my guesses, but I'm sure this guy was the one who owns the mansion that the gang blew up. He looked like a blonde, rich guy version of Wario.
Aqua: Psst, hey, hey. That guy seems to have his eyes glued on us.
Darkness: That is the lord in question, Aldarp.
Aldarp: *Pedo grin*
