After everyone had finished their dishes, Menchi had declared that (Y/N) was the only one to pass. Most wondered how that was possible when she just looked like a normal teenager, while some got violent. Chairman Netero made an appearance and everyone ended up moving to a new location where they proceeded with exam 2. (Y/N) didn't have to participate because she had already passed the first test, but as she stood off to the side away from everyone else, people were constantly staring and judging so she decided to hop in too.

She ended up jumping right next to someone else. But the moment that she held on, the boy she hung next to screamed wildly and fell, never coming back up due to the lack of a current. Some of the other examinees looked her way giving her weird glances but she didn't notice them, too focused on her current task.

When she noticed the green hairs kid drop, (y/n) dropped too. She successfully flew back up and grabbed an egg.

(Y/N) POV

Chairman Netero and a small green man named Beans gave their introductions and after a ton of blah blah blah eventually I saw the green haired boy from before and his white haired friend run out of the room we were in. Slowly the other examinees had left to go sleep or whatever and I was left alone with the chairman. I began to leave before the chairman stopped me by speaking.

"Miss (l/n), right?" He looked directly at me and then at the space surrounding me. 

"Yes, sir."

"Your father..." He looked down at his hand that was reaching into his clothing, "he asked me to give you this." From his clothing he held a black bracelet similar to the one I had broken. He walked towards me and handed me the jewelry before leaving the room pointedly. I set the bracelet on my arm and left to search the airship a bit.

Later on as I was walking the halls, I noticed the two children sitting on a bench by a large window. Before I had even gotten close the white haired boy turned to my direction and eyed me suspiciously. Then the green haired one looked at me too and smiled brightly.

He waved me over and as I was walking closer, "My names Gon! I didn't get to introduce myself earlier!" He laughs and bends his arm at an awkward angle to scratch his back- he reminds me of dad. The thought had made me happy so I smiled and genuinely replied with just as much brightness that he was sending my way.

"Hiya! I'm (y/n)."

"Wow such a cool name! Oh! And this is Killua, he may seem mean but he's actually really fun!" The white haired boy, Killua, growled at his friend as he stood up balling his fists which made Gon and I laugh.

Killua turned to look at me, the distaste showing on his face. "What's up with you?" The question made me tilt my head to the side, which Gon saw and laughed even harder than before. Killua just scoffed the question away and so I chose to ignore it.

Suddenly the two boys gasped audibly and stared toward an empty hallway. I turn around at the presence of someone, before he spoke alerting the children. Chairman Netero looked at me, again looking at the air around me, then at the boys.

He had a conversation with the boys but I chose to just zone out because things were boring me again. Until someone had poked me in my side bringing me into the conversation also. "I'm sorry, what?"

"Hehe, Chairman Netero asked what you thought of the Hunter Exam." Gon laughed at how I had zoned out.

"Hmm.." I wanted to word this properly so I didn't look like an arrogant child, "my dad told me to take this exam, so I did, but he said it would be fun, and it hasn't been fun at all." The chairman had studied me once again and then laughed loudly.

"Would you three like to play a little game with me?"
