Shoto's pov

Aizawa left, leaving me alone in her room. I didn't understand why she was so mad. I tried to figure out what I had done to make her so defensive all of a sudden. She had been fine with me being next to her until that moment. I stared straight ahead at the wall in front of me, trying to think about what I'd done wrong. Was it because I touched her arm. I was just looking at the scars. Why would she hide them? If she spoke like everything would be fine then why was she hiding scars on her arms. Where did they even come from? They didn't look like battle scars so what could have caused such small scars. The door opened again and Aizawa walked back in again, head turned away from me.
"I shouldn't have gotten so angry at you. I'm sorry" she whispered, still not looking at me.
"Why did you?"
"Its not important" she objects, walking over and sitting on the bed. I looked ahead before looking at her again. Her hair was hiding her eyes and I couldn't quite see her expression in the dull light of the room.
"I can go downs-"
"You don't have to. I'm not mad at you. I just...... I overreacted" she sighed, her shoulders coming up towards her ears. I looked straight ahead. Suddenly arms wrapped around me and I was pulled into a hug which surprised me.
"What-"
"You seemed like you needed a hug" she whispered, voice wavering and head hidden in my chest. I blinked down at her, biting my lip. I hesitated with my arms outstretched before slowly curling them around her smaller frame and placing my head on top of her head. I blinked, my mind trying to catch up with what was happening. I could hear quiet sniffles alongside the movement of Aizawa's head. One hand pulled on the back of my shirt and she didn't lift up her head from where she had buried it. I kept my mouth shut, deciding not to say anything. We just sat there for a while until the beeping of her phone surprised us both. Tamaki sat up, hiding her face with her hair as she rubbed her hands across her face.
"You should go downstairs before dad gets up and thinks we slept together" she explains, pulling her hand down. I don't answer, only get up and walk towards her door.
"Hey" she calls before I twist the handle. I turn to look at her.
"If you ever need someone to talk to...... about stuff....... just come ask" she explains, not looking at me. I don't say anything, just opening the door and walking down the stairs. I lie down on the sleeping bag on the floor just as Midoriya begins to stir. I can hear movement from upstairs and soon Mic comes down, hair down as he walks to the kitchen. He turned on the stove and started cooking. I can hear some kind of machine working and soon after Mr Aizawa comes down.
"I smell coffee" he states, looking to the kitchen.
"Yeah. I'm making coffee. Do any of you kids want any?" he calls to the four of us. I shake my head, noticing both of them turn to me then look at each other for a second with a confused look.
"Well foods nearly finished. Sho, watch the bacon. I'll get the kids" he explains. Mr Aizawa walks up to the stove, looking down at the frying pan.
"Tamaki, Tamaki, Hitoshi. Breakfast is ready" Mic yells up the stairs, his voice so loud that I had to cover my ears. Shinso quickly comes down the stairs, running one hand through his hair which was messy and not standing up, strands falling in his face and over his eyes.
"Any coffee?" he asks, looking towards the kitchen.
"Just sit down" Mic objects. He then turned to us.
"Grab a seat at the table. We have enough chairs" he smiles brightly, gesturing to the table. I sit down next to an empty seat and watch the others happily talk while Shinso looks about half dead in his chair. Soon enough Aizawa and Amajiki come down, the latter looking like he had to crawl out of his bed.
"Why did we have to get up so early. Its Saturday" Amajiki mumbled, rubbing one eye with scruffy looking hair. Aizawa said nothing and just sat down in the chair next to me while Amajiki sat next to Shinso who gave him a slight glare. Food was served and a small scuffle between Shinso and Amajiki began over toast apparently.
"Stop fighting. We have guests" Mr Aizawa scolded the two.
"Well then tell Tamaki to stop stealing my food"
"I didn't steal it. I thought it was just there"
"Likely story thief"
"I'm not a thief. It was a piece of toast that you were going to eat. It doesn't matter" The two continued to squabble for a little while until Mr Aizawa and Mic finally broke them up. Aizawa just sipped at her coffee with a deadpan face as she stared straight ahead, the bickering practically in her ear. I looked at her, wondering if she'd say anything.
"What are you looking at Candy cane?" she grumbles, sending ripples across the surface of her coffee. She was back to acting indifferent again. What was going on? Why did she change so quickly. I thought something happened and we were past this but maybe I was wrong. I breathed through my nose.
"Nothing" I responded, staring blankly at the table instead.
