Tamaki's pov
I turned to look at my alarm as it started to blare into my ear from beside my bed. I fumble my hand around for my phone and dismiss my alarm before sitting up in my bed. I pushed myself up, reaching out and picking up my eye supports, clicking them onto the little clips next to my eyes an fixing them behind my ears. I walked over to the wardrobe where my uniform, changing into it. I reached under my hair and pulled it out from my shirt. I swap out my bandages for fresh ones since I can see dark splotches on the old ones. Once those are swapped out, I pull on my blazer and walk downstairs where I find Hitoshi hitting Tamaki on the head while biting into a piece of toast.
"Stop taking my food you little thief" he hisses, taking another bite into his toast.
"Can I just go back to my room?" I mumble, looking at dad who was practically falling asleep while at the table and dad was cooking breakfast and singing along to the radio very loud. Tamaki turns to me.
"Tamaki, help me" he speaks, trying to push Hitoshi's hand away from his ear which Hitoshi was trying to pull. I sit down in my seat but say nothing, only picking up the orange juice and pouring myself a glass. The two keep up their little scuffle until dad lifts his head from the table and gives them both a look that silences them for now. I take slow sips from my juice, keeping an eye on how my stomach was feeling with the sugary drink after each sip.
"Tamaki, try eating something. You'll need your strength for the day" Dad tells me, pushing a plate with toast over towards me. I don't think I could handle it but I didn't want to make dad worried about me so I pick up a slice and slowly eat it. By the time I'm finished, I feel sick to my stomach but I hold it down. Dad gets up from the table and I go up to the bathroom. The food was quick to come up when my knees hit the floor in front of the toilet. I wrap one arm around my stomach, trying to calm the shaking. I knew it would be a bad idea to eat that entire slice. When my stomach ha finally settled, I flushed the toilet and brushed my teeth to get the taste from my mouth. I exited the bathroom and picked up my bag before walking down the stairs. Dad had a camera as he looked down at it before looking at me with a wide smile.
"Tamaki! Come down here so we can get a picture of you" he cheers in his usual loud manner. I walk down the stairs and stand next to my brothers who were positioned next to a blank wall. Dad snapped photos of us with a smile while dad stood behind him with arms crossed and head tilted down slightly.
"Perfect. You're all going to do great. First and third year at U.A" he smiles, putting the camera back in its usual place and grabbing his bag. I enter the school and split off from my brothers. Hitoshi hadn't gotten into the hero course, instead being in class 1c. I felt bad because he deserved to be in the hero course way more than I do but instead I'm the one in the hero course. I walk up to the doors of 1a and walk inside. There are a few students in the class who are talking with each other and socializing. I walk past these people and sit in a free seat right at the back of the class. I look to the side and spot that guy who had been in the recommendations exam. He honestly looked kind of like a candy cane. He seemed very uninterested in what was happening around him so I decided to just ignore him and look to the front. Dad walks in and sudden realisation hits me. I'm in dad's class. Great. He looks around the room for a second before walking up to his desk and pulled out a list of names. He calls out names and when he calls my name I mumble a here and cover the top of my eyes. I can hear people turn to look at me from the movement in seats. Today was not going well for me today, clearly.
