Tamaki's pov
When all the dishes had been cleared up, I was about to go sit down at the couch with another cup of coffee when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see dad.
"Tamaki, we should talk" he explained, looking over at my classmates for a second then back at me. He wanted to talk alone.
"Alright" I reply, following up the stairs and into his room. He closed the door while I sat down on his bed.
"Do you know where Todoroki disappeared to during the night? He wasn't in the living room when Hizashi and I got home but he was there this morning" he explained. I looked down at my coffee.
"He was with me. I ran into him when we were both going to the bathroom and we ended up just talking for a while" I lied. He looked at me for a second.
"Just talked?" he asks, raising an eyebrow. I take a sip from my coffee.
"We didn't have sex dad" I assured him, tapping my finger against my mug. He chokes on air for a second.
"I di- That.... That wasn't what I was going to ask" he coughed into his hand, trying to cover up his embarrassment.
"If anyone is doing that it would be Tamaki. He's the only one out of the three of us who's even dating anyone" I add on.
"Yes. I'm aware of his relationship with Mirio. But that isn't my point. He didn't hurt you last night right?" He asks.
"No dad. I'm fine. Not a scratch in sight" he audibly sighed.
"Alright. Just.... be careful. If he hurts you, then let me know straight away"
"You're phrasing it like he's my boyfriend. I'm not interested in him. I just talked. I wouldn't really even consider him a friend. Maybe an acquaintance" I explain, taking a long drink from my mug. Dad looks at me for a second.
"Just go back downstairs" he chuckled slightly, placing one hand on my head and ruffling my hair.
"Dad, I'm not five anymore. You don't need to do that" I object, raising one hand and waving it at him. He says nothing in response. Only opens his bedroom door so that I can step out.
"Tamaki. Help me" I heard Tamaki cry out before he let out a scream. I went down the stairs only to find Tamaki and Hitoshi in the middle of another squabble with Hitoshi pinning him down while Tamaki held onto a small chocolate bar.
"This is fair. You took my toast"
"I said sorry"
"Not good enough" Hitoshi was sitting on top of Tamaki, looking about ready to tickle him. I placed my coffee on the cabinet nearby and walked over, attempting to hoist Hitoshi off but instead I just dragged him onto the carpet.
"Don't interrupt us" Hitoshi objected, looking up at me. I raise an eyebrow before letting go of my hold on him, letting the rest of him body fall to the floor.
"What was that for?"
"I dunno. Just felt like it" I reply before walking back over to the cabinet and picking up my mug. Hitoshi eyes Tamaki who moves away, holding the chocolate close to him as if protecting it. I shake my head before taking another sip from my coffee.
"Aizawa?" I nearly jump out of my skin, coffee splashing out of my cup and onto my hand. Todoroki shrinks away, covering his face with his arms.
"Ah fuck. I burnt my hands" I hiss, placing the cup on the kitchen counter and starting up the cold tap. I run my hands under the water to cool the burn.
"What did you do to Tamaki?" Hitoshi demanded, getting up in Todoroki's face.
"Hitoshi, stop it. He did nothing" I object, shaking my hand to get rid of the water.
"But your hands are burnt"
"I spilt coffee on them. He did nothing" I explain. He looks at me then at Todoroki with a narrowed gaze as he slowly walked away from him and towards Tamaki. I sigh, using a kitchen towel to dry my mug.
"What's going on down here?"
"Tamaki spilt coffee on herself" Tamaki explains, taking a bite of his chocolate bar. Dad looks at me, adjusting his glasses as he looks at my hands.
"Its fine. I ran them under cold water. No big deal" I assure him, rubbing my thumb over the other hand.
"Alright, if you're sure" I nod in response and dad heads back up the stairs. I pick up my mug and drink what was left in the mug. What an eventful morning.
