Tamaki's pov

My ears must have gotten blocked because everything sounded like I was underwater. It was very prominant when someone yelled and I could hardly understand what was said. Even if I couldn't understand it, clearly everyone else did since Todoroki started picking up the pace. I tried to lift my head but my neck was sore when I did so and my head felt like it weighed 5 tons. I dropped my head down on Todoroki's shoulder again. Maybe I could just have a little nap. I slowly start to slip into sleep right up until I hit the floor and something digs into my sides. I yelp, my ears popping and suddenly I can hear everything again alongside a dull ringing sound.
"Aizawa?" I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"What..." I trailed off, dropping my head down. Someone was yelling Todoroki and Hitoshi's name.
"Hitoshi....."
"Its alright. He's....... He'll be back"
"Midoriya. Why would you say such a thing" We're they unaware that I could hear them.
"She's not doing well. If we told her what really happened then it might make it worse" tell me what. What happened to Hitoshi and Todoroki. I wanted to get up. I wanted to find Hitoshi. But my body hurt so much and every part of my body was like rocks.
"What are we supposed to do? Only Iida could run fast enough to not get caught and Aizawa is in no state to run alone"
"We don't know if the two of you couldn't outrun it"
"It caught Todoroki and Shinso. And sure, Todoroki was also carrying Aizawa but still" What caught them.
"What are we going to tell Mr Aizawa and Endevour anyway. Oh sorry that your sons were eaten b-"
"SSSShhh" Hitoshi was eaten. Something ate my brother. Something killed my brother. My chest tightened. Why would something do such a thing. I tried to speak but no words came out. I didn't know how to react. Then there was a strange pop sound.

Shoto's pov

I stood up, looking at the pieces of inside that had gone to mush when I used my quirk that hung from my arm. Hitoshi got to his feet, picking off some of the moosh from his hair.
"Uh. I smell like a landfill" he grumbles, shaking his arm.
"Wait. How did you guys do that?" Midoriya asks, looking around a corner.
"Turns out they aren't fire proof" Shinso commented.
"But how?"
"Some kind of fluid that turned out to be flamable. To the point of explosion" he explains, picking off more of the remains.
"How did you guys not explode"
"He was smart enough to make an iced shell. It broke in the explosion but protected us"
"I'm smart" I object.
"Well. At least we don't need to explain that you were eaten"
"How's Tamaki?"
"Not any better. I think that spider hurt when you threw her out of the way"
"We need to get out of here right now. If she dies then..... I don't what I'm going to do but it won't be good" he walks off to where the others had come from. I follow, ready to carry Aizawa the rest of the way.
