Shoto's pov

I wiped the sweat from my forehead, putting my shirt on top of the tank top I had on. I looked around, finding Tamaki who was leaning against a tree. Her hands were down at her sides and goggles atop her head. She was looking down at her boots. She looked up when I approached.
"What's up Candy cane?" she breathed through her nose with a light noise kind of like a laugh.
"How was your training?" I ask, looking down towards her arms.
"I'm getting better. Just waiting for the side affects to wear off is all" she sighs, leaning forward while her arms swung to meet her knees.
"Is it your eyes?" I looked up at her eyes but they didn't look irritated.
"No. I already used my eyedrops. Its my arms. Can't move them right now" I looked down at her arms which didn't look any different. I reached out, placing one hand on her left arm. They felt tingly under my fingers, almost like some kind of static.
"So any plans now that training is over?"
"Well there's going to be some kind of trek through the woods in pairs after dinner so probably that" I bring my hand back, letting Tamaki's hand fall back down. She twitched her fingers with a grunt.
"Sounds like a pain" she sighed, turning her head away to look in the opposite direction of me. I look towards the far end of the woods where the sun would be setting soon.
"I don't normally come out this far from the city" Tamaki turns her head back towards me.
"You don't. My dad's own a lodge house in a more forest area. Its near this huge lake that has boats and other things on rent. We go every summer when its not too busy. You should try doing it some time. Its relaxing" She smiles.
"I don't think my dad owns any other house other than our current one" I mumble.
"I'm pretty sure you can rent a place too. Buying ones costs a lot. It took my dads a long time and a lot of work to save up for one" She pushes herself off the tree, arms moving with her command like they should. I look around but I can't see anyone else.
"Want to walk back together?"
"Yeah sure. Maybe I'll be mugged by a frog" She laughed, stepping beside me and pulling her goggles down over her eyes again.
"Frogs can steal things?" I looked at her with raised eyebrows.
"What? No. Well maybe. But not from what I remember" She started walking. I walked alongside her. About halfway to the building she stopped. I turned to look.
"Something wrong?" I ask. She looked around her then shook her head.
"Sorry. It must be my anxiety running wild" she shoved her hands in her pockets.
"What is it?" I looked around, trying to see if there was some animal or something.
"I just thought that someone was watching me. Don't worry about it. It happens sometimes" She didn't take any steps forward. I looked around.
"Maybe we should tell Mr Aizawa. It might be serious" She sighed.
"I've already told you. Its my anxiety. It always happens when I'm walking somewhere alone with no one around"
"But you aren't alone. I'm here" she shakes her head.
"I don't need to tell dad. I can just grab my medication from my room. I promise its nothing" she started walking again, one hand reaching up to her arm. I opened my mouth.
"Its fine. Nothing's wrong" I closed my mouth again, turning my head away. I didn't say anything else, reaching the building where everyone else was gathering for dinner. Tamaki split off from me there, heading into the building. I was about to follow when I heard my name called. I watched her retreating form for a few more seconds then turned to see what I was needed for.
