I pushed my way through some bushes, almost getting hit in the face with a branch that sprung back.
"This is it! The official rendezvous point for the invasion force." Sokka exclaimed excitedly, looking up from the map he was holding.
"And "this" is...?" I asked, looking around slightly unimpressed by the normal looking spot.
"Yeah...how did you pick this place?" Asked Toph.
"Before we split up, my dad and I found this island on the map. It's uninhabited, and the harbors surrounded by the cliffs seemed like the perfect secluded place." He explained.
"I guess." I said, glancing up at the tall cliffs.
"Nice choice, Sokka. And we're here four days ahead of schedule." Katara pointed out, nodding at her brother.
"Wait! Four days? The invasion's in four days?" Aang exclaimed, looking between us in panic.
"Whatever." Started Sokka, laying down sleepily. "That's like four days from now. Let's just calm down and..." And with that, he fell asleep.
"Sokka's got the right idea, Aang. We're here. We're ready. The best thing we can do now is get plenty of rest." Katara said, also laying down.
"They've got a point, I'm exhausted." I admitted, also laying on the floor and closing my eyes.
I sensed Aang laying down not too far away before I slipped into a deep sleep.
I saw Zuko, well the back of him, and shouted to him. I was happy to have my voice back, and even happier when he turned around and smiled at me.
"Saki!" He exclaimed, running towards me with extended arms.
"Zuko!" I shouted in joy, however my hands started moving without me wanting them to.
I looked down and saw a knife appear in my hand.
I tried to shout to Zuko to stop and run away, but I wasn't in control. As Zuko tried to embrace me in a hug, my hand that wasn't my hand stabbing him in the stomach.
He flopped into me, blood spurting out of where the knife hit him as he fell to the floor, still smiling creepily.
I looked at my hands and saw they were covered in blood, as well as the rest of me. I slowly backed away, scared at what I had done.
This had to be a dream, I needed to wake up, I have to wake up.
I slapped my face repeatedly, feeling the blood from my hands smear over my face and the stung as my palms collided with my cheeks.
Why wasn't I waking up? I could feel the pain.
"Wake up! Wake up!" I shouted at myself, hitting my arms.
"Wake up! Wake up!" I screamed dropping to my knees and pounding on my legs.
"You can't stop me...I'm inside you..."
I sat up; breathing heavily, sweat dripping down my face, tears falling into my lap.
I looked at my hands and saw them back to normal, no blood, just a little dirt.
I looked around and saw that Aang was missing, but everyone else was asleep. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep again, so I got up and went for a walk.
The fresh beach air hit my skin and I breathed in I deeply. I knew that it wasn't real. It was just a dream. How could anything like that be real. And why would I kill Zuko? It's not like I hate him - no wait I should hate him, he left me - but I shouldn't hate him so much to kill him - unless that's how much I should hate him..?
I sighed and sat down, watching the waves lap up at the sandy shore, inching closer to me.
This was so stupid.
Worrying about such a stupid dream like that.
Although it was weird I could feel pain in the dream, but maybe I was dreaming that, like dream pain.
I put my head in my hands. This was too complicated. The best thing to do was to just forget about it.
My thoughts the landed on Aang. Where was he? He had laid down to sleep too, but now he was gone. Maybe he had gone on a spiritual adventure again, it was getting closer and closer to the invasion and maybe Roku thought he would give him a pep talk or something.
