Saki wondered out on to the ship's lower deck to see what was going on.
She had refused to talk to Zuko the rest of yesterday, but today was a new day.
Joining Zuko and Iroh at the front of the ship, she looked to see where they were headed."Sailing into Fire Nation waters...Of all the foolish things you've done in your sixteen years, Prince Zuko, this is the most foolish!" Iroh said from where him and Zuko were stood at the front of the ship.
"I have no choice, Uncle." Zuko said, looking through a telescope into the horizon.
"You could just, you know.....not sail into fire nation waters...?" Saki suggested, looking at the ocean in front of them."Talking to me again then?" He said, looking down at her.
"Yeah, but that could change verrrry quickly." She remarked, shooting him a warning look.Iroh looked ahead and sighed, ignoring their squabble.
"Have you completely forgotten that the Fire Lord banished you? What if you're caught?" Iroh snapped at his nephew.
Zuko pulled his gaze away from the telescope to talk to his uncle.
"I'm chasing the Avatar! My father will understand why I am returning home!" Zuko argued back."You give him too much credit. My brother is not the understanding type!" Iroh tried to convince Zuko.
Zuko ignored him and went back to looking through the telescope.
"There they are. Helmsman! Full steam ahead!" Zuko yelled up to the men at the top of the ship.
"Seems like a bad idea~" Saki told them, singing and dragging out the line slightly just to piss Zuko off, before turning and skipping away from them."What would you know?" Zuko turned and snapped at her this time.
"Uhhhh. That it's a bad idea...?" She shrugged, turning around and smiling at him.(it wAS A BAD IDEA.
CALLING YOU UP.
um, anyways.)"Let's be real here." Saki said, walking back over to them and waving her hands side to side.
"If commander side-burns finds you, you're stuffed." She stopped in her tracks and pointed animatedly at Zuko, pulling a deadpan facial expression.
"He doesn't want you finding the avatar. So, you're risking it all here." She told them, crossing her arms after throwing them in the air."But if I get the avatar, it won't matter!" Zuko argued more.
"But, you've let him go many times before." Saki pointed out.
That.... was a mistake."That doesn't matter! It won't happen again, hear me!" He turned and walked closer to me, towering over her.
"Do you know why it won't happen again?!" He growled.
"Uh, no..?" Saki asked, backing away from him slightly.
"Because you won't be a part of it! You will be staying in your room!" He yelled, pointing to where the sleeping quarters were."Who says?" Saki yelled back.
"I say!" He snapped, grabbing the front of her shirt and pulling her face closer to his."Hm. No. You can't order me around. I'm the same age as you." She snapped.
"I am in charge of this ship, so I am in charge of the people on it! And that includes you!" He growled.
"Hmm, no." Saki shrugged, and tried to pull away from his grasp."You can't say no!" Zuko yelled.
"I think I can! It's a basic human right! I'm not going to suddenly bow down to you because you're a male and think you can boss me around because I'm a minority compared to you!" Saki yelled back, getting very angry."Zuko. Calm down." Called Iroh in a soothing tone.
"I am calm!" Zuko yelled back at the top of his voice.
"Your face says otherwise." Saki laughed and he glared back at her.Saki finally prized herself away from his clutches and took a step back.
"Now I'm going before you take away more of my rights." Saki muttered, walking away to the other side of the deck.
Zuko clenched his fists and growled, glaring at the back of her head as she walked away.
