I was falling through the air at an increasing speed.

I could see the sky above me, bright blue with some fluffy clouds.
I turned in the air to see what was below me.

To my dismay, there was just an icy sea. I mean, it's not all bad, at least it would be a softer landing than ground, but seriously!?Where was I supposed to go once I landed??

"Stupid portal!" I shouted back at the sky as I neared the ocean.
I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the cold impact, but it didn't come.

I opened my eyes again to find myself lying on a floating ice chunk. The cold ice was starting to melt against my warm skin, and I was now wishing I had worn a jacket.
Already shivering, I sat up and rubbed my head, confused on how I had gotten here.
I hadn't felt any impact at all.

Looking around, I saw that there was still no way out of this situation, I was stuck on this stupid ice thingy in the stupid freezing cold ocean.

Well, sulking isn't gonna get me anywhere.
"Right. Let's move."

I carefully got to my feet and balanced myself by spreading my arms out left and right.
There was another ice chunk not far away and I decided that I could probably make that jump.
I grabbed my backpack and readied myself.

"AHHHHH!" shouted as I ran at the edge of my block, slipping and sliding.
I threw myself forwards as I jumped the gap.
Landing on my feet in a squat, I slipped forwards to the opposite edge of the ice berg.

"No no no no!" I shouted as I felt myself slip to the edge. I threw my weight backwards and and landed on my back, but I couldn't stop my feet from getting wet.
I hissed at the cold water and pulled my feet out as fast as I could then turned.
I hated the ocean.

"Alright. Jump number two."
I stood, ran at the edge and jumped.
I could already feel that the jump was off, as soon as my feet left the ice.

As I landed, my foot collided with the side of a spike in the ice that was jutting out of the side and it ripped at the bottom of my jeans and cut my leg.

Trying to get my composure back, I stepped as I was sliding, fell backwards and felt my head collide with the hard ice.

The world span above me and I was trying not to pass out.
Something big and blurrycame into my vision, but I couldn't figure out what it was.

ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ

I gasped as I sat up.
I looked for the shadow but it wasn't there.
The ice wasn't even there.
Instead I was in a metal room. Either the room was swaying or my head still hadn't cleared properly.

Looking around, I could see red banners with a symbol on it that looked like a flame, a strange looking map (it looked like something a kid would draw as a treasure map), a red rug and some other, very red, various bits of furniture.
The bed I was laying in had a red duvet cover and matching pillows.
Even the air smelt like the colour red - slightly wood and campfire like.

"What's with all this red?" I muttered to myself.
The door creaked open and an older looking man stood in the door way, holding a tray.
"Calming jasmine tea?"

"Uh. Yes please?"

"Good answer."

We gots ourselves a shawty today.
Uhm, anyways.
