This world was crazy.
People bending elements.
Someone who had ultimate power.
Marrying at fifteen.
Again, this world was crazy.

The clothes I wore were now only a tiny bit damp - and even that could be the cold - so I decided it would be fine to wear those.

I spotted a mirror and sat myself in front of it to examine my head.
Carefully, I unwrapped the bandage and ice bag and placed it on the floor in front of me.

There was just one plaster over it now. I took half of it off. It wasn't very bad at all, just a little blood and stuff. I wasn't very squeamish and I didn't scare easily. It took a lot to knock the confidence out of me.

I stuck the half of the plaster back on my head and pulled a hairbrush out of my bag.

Slowly I ran it through my long brown hair and then adjusted my fringe. I at least wanted to look a little presentable.

Shoving the brush back into my backpack, which I noticed was next to my shoes and socks, and stood up. I hoisted my jeans up slightly and pulled down my green top to cover my tanned stomach more.

It was summer where I had came from and so my skin was slightly darker than usual due to the powerful summer sun.
But even in the winter, I had a slightly-more-than-tanned skin tone.

"Alright. Let's roll." I did finger guns at myself in the mirror and made my way out of the door and into the hallway.

Then it struck me.
I had no idea where I was going.

I decided to make a guess and follow the smell of food.
My nose led me to the kitchen, which was right next to a room with table and chairs.
And Iroh, sitting in one of the chairs.

"Well hello Sakura." A warm smile spread across his face. It was contagious and I was soon beaming too.
"Oh right, you can just call me Saki if you want." I said, shrugging and walking to an empty seat.

"That's also a very beautiful name, Saki."
"Thank you. Will..." I clicked my fingers, trying to remember the name. "Zuko! Will he be joining us?" I asked, pulling the back of the chair out so I could sit down.
"Yes. I would just like to say that I'm sorry if he offends you at any point. He is good. Deep down. Deep... deep down."
"Alright..." I said, sceptically as I sat down and turned to the table.

A boy about my age, I would say sixteen, walked into the room with an almost bald head, except from one square that was pulled back in a pony tail and a scar over one of his eyes. He was wearing something very similar to Iroh.

ew.

He froze when he saw me.
"What's she doing here." He snapped, pointing at me. I frowned, he had already gotten on my nerves with a simple four words.

"Saki is our guest Zuko. Welcome her properly." Iroh said, his kind tone not wavering one bit despite the presence of this stuck up brat.
"She could be working for the firenation! Or the avatar!" Zuko said, immediately falling suspicious of me.
"Trust me, I'm not." I chimed in.
"We don't know that! Where is she from?" Zuko asked, turning to Iroh.

He was talking as if I wasn't even there! Prince of the fire nation my ass. More like prince of teenage angst.

"She is from another world, Zuko." Iroh told him, a glint in his eyes and a tone of mystery in his voice.
"You and all of your other world rubbish again!" Zuko said, rolling his eyes at his kind uncle.
"Well she's living proof, is she not? Look at what she is wearing. It's... so different." Iroh looked at me then back at Zuko, getting more and more excited about my presence.
