For the next few days Sokka had insisted on staying with Saki when she ate, to make sure she didn't just dump it out the window.

Sokka was the one Saki trusted the most here, although she refused to let herself get any closer to him than she felt she had to.

Every now and then, she found herself smiling at something he had said, making her feel like maybe she was making some progress.

Her and Sokka pretty much shared the same sense of humour, except Saki's involved more swearing. That humour was sarcasm, annoying comments, and puns that were so bad, they looped all the way round to funny again.

Saki had heard the news that Aang had woken up and how a fire nation ship almost knew who we were. Saki didn't like to leave her room, so Sokka gave her daily updates on what was happening.

A lot of the time Saki spent sat in her own silence caused her thoughts to drift to Zuko, remembering all the time we spent together.

Her mind flashed back to when they were living in the wild, trying to survive off of almost nothing. Her thoughts zoned in on when they had gone fishing together and had play fought in the stream.

A small smile appeared on her lips as she remembered how much he laughed when she fell into the freezing water. How she pushed him in and he pulled her in the water too.

She just wished she could go back to then. When everything between both of them was okay. When she was actually happy and she thought it would last forever.

But, of course, it didn't.
Apparently, for Saki, nothing does.

Her deep thinking was interrupted by a knocking at the door.
"Come in." Saki said, looking up from where she was sprawled on her bed.

Sokka walked in, however this time he didn't have any food with him.
Saki sat up and looked at him, confused as to what could be so important.

"Saki, Aang made a run for it trying to prove something and we're going after him. Do you want to come or stay on the ship?" He asked her, talking a little faster than usual as if he was in a rush.

She made a split second decision and went with what her gut told her to do.

"I'll pack some stuff. Meet you on the deck in five."

Sokka grinned, glad that she would be joining them.

"There he is!" Katara exclaimed.

Saki, Sokka, Toph, Katara and Momo were on Appa in search of Aang.
Katara had spotted him on an island, passed out on the shore.

"You're okay!" Exclaimed Katara, as they all gathered for a group hug.
Saki was dragged in too by Sokka, but if she was being honest, she didn't really mind.

"I have so much to do." Said Aang.

"I know, but you'll have our help." Katara smiled.

"You didn't think you could get out of training just by coming to the Fire Nation, did you?" Asked Toph, smiling.

"What about the invasion?" Aang questioned the group at large.
