I stared up at the dark sky, illuminated with flying balls of light that shot downwards. It was truly beautiful.
"Wow, this is amazing to watch." Said Katara from where she was laid a few feet away from me.
"Kind of makes you realize how insignificant we are." Said Sokka from his position next to me.
"Eh, you've seen nothing once, you've seen it a thousand times." Toph said from my other side, sounding bored.
I laughed lightly at her comment and looked back up at the sky to see a huge meteor coming headed for the ground.
"Oh man," said Sokka, standing to get a better view, "you've never not seen anything like this."
I stood too, and so did Katara and Aang, to get a better view of the damage the faint space rock had done after hitting the ground with a crash.
We all hopped on Appa and flew over to the meteor as fast as we could, planning on stopping the flames.
"The fire is gonna destroy that town!" Katara exclaimed, sounding worried.
"Not if we can stop it!" Announced Aang, ready to help anyone as usual.
Everyone hopped off Appa except me and Katara.
"There's a creek over here. I'll bend the water onto the fire."
"I'm coming too." I told her, raising my hands, ready to bend the water.
"I think you need a little more experience than what you have to be bending water in that amount and risking the town." Katara said, a harsh tone present in her words.
"Right." I said, sliding off of Appa to do my best to help the others.
Katara flew off towards the creek we had passed to get water.
"Bitch." I muttered to myself as Toph and Aang started using earth bending to create a trench, stopping the fire from spreading.
"What should I do?" Asked Sokka.
Aang paused, considering his question and glancing around for something for Sokka to do.
"Keep an eye on Momo." He said eventually as Momo ran towards Sokka and me.
"What about me?" I asked.
"Do you have any water or anything?" Asked Aang.
"No, Katara wouldn't let me."
"Keep an eye on Sokka."
I rolled my eyes at this stupid task, but looked over to see Sokka trying, and failing, to put out a flame.
"Let's go over here." I said, grabbing Sokka by the elbow and pulling him away from all the flames.
"Stupid Katara, not letting me help. Little does she know, I'm probably better than her." I muttered as I sat down, not happy about being left out when I could help perfectly well.
"Tell me about it, it's like they think we can't do anything." Sokka said, waving his hand dramatically before resting his chin on it.
"Sokka and Saki, stand clear!"
"Right." We both said, standing up slowly. Sokka grabbed Momo and I grabbed Sokka, pulling him away from the flaming rock.
A huge wave of water flew towards us, but I lazily raised my hand and it parted, leaving me and Momo safe and dry, however Sokka got drenched by a wave.
"Oh, sorry Sokka." I said, waving a hand and removing the water from his clothes.
The dome of water exploded into snow and rained down on me, Sokka and Momo, covering us in it.
"Good work, everybody." Aang announced, smiling happily at saving more people.
I climbed out of the pile of snow, followed by Sokka holding Momo, and waved my hand to get all of the moisture out of our clothes and Momo's fur.
