Saki was walking out onto the deck of the ship. It was boiling hot, so she'd stripped down to dark red shorts with a piece of material, the same shade of red, tied around me in a short skirt and a cropped vest top in a lighter shade of red.
She'd pulled on her trainers because the ship floor was too hot from the sun to walk around bare foot, but she couldn't be bothered to put on her fire nation shoes.
Iroh was stood on the deck of their ship, with Zuko looking through a spyglass behind him.
Saki watched as a flock of birds flew above Iroh's head in the distance, he sniffed the air and Zuko lowered the spyglass to turn to his uncle.
"There is a storm coming. A big one." Said Iroh.
"You're out of your mind, Uncle. The weather's perfect. There's not a cloud in sight."
"A storm is approaching from the north. I suggest we alter our course and head southwest." Iroh persisted.
"A storm?" Saki asked, walking over to the pair.
Zuko's face flushed pink as he looked her up and down and noticed the lack of layers.
"S-Saki! You-uh-you're...Uhhh." Zuko stuttered like crazy, blinking a bunch of times and steadily going redder.
"Uhm, hi Zuko. Are you okay...? Are you having a stroke?" Sake leant closer to him and tilted her head.
"You uhh. You look nice." He managed to speedily spit out as he went even redder and stared at the floor.
Iroh face palmed and sighed.
"Thanks!" Saki said with a closed eye smile on her face. "Now what did you say about a storm?" She asked, glancing at Iroh.
Iroh looked up. "There's a storm coming. From the north."
"Really? Looks clear to me." Saki said, putting a hand on her forehead to shield the sun as she looked up.
"We should travel south." Suggested Iroh.
"We know the Avatar is traveling northward, so we will do the same." Stated Zuko, pointing.
"Prince Zuko, consider the safety of the crew." Iroh pleaded.
"The safety of the crew doesn't matter!" He yelled.
Behind them, Lieutenant Jee walked onto deck, inadvertently overhearing the conversation.
As Zuko realised Jee was behind him, he turned to face him, his expression briefly lost its raging intensity.
Jee raised an eyebrow as Zuko, addressing Jee directly, struted up to him, dominantly looking him right in the eyes from a close distance.
"Finding the Avatar is far more important than any individual's safety." Zuko growled. Saki quickly intervened, trying her best to keep peace.
"Zuko!" She called, grabbing his arm.
"Calm. Down. Pl. Lease." She said, pulling on his arm with every syllable.
Zuko shook her off and she fell on her behind on the floor as Zuko walked away.
"He doesn't mean that." Said Iroh, reassuringly, a twinge of uncertainty in his voice, almost as if he does not fully believe what he is saying. "He's just all worked up."
Saki looked after Zuko, who was storming into the ship hallway.
She wasn't sure whether to go after him or whether to give him space and time.
"You want to talk to him, don't you Saki."
She glanced up at a smirking Iroh and smiled back.
"Well. I guess. I... uh... I just wanna make sure he's okay. He can be pretty stupid and inconsiderate sometimes.. well most of the time, but I know that he can be nice too.. rarely." Saki explained, standing up and rubbing her bruised behind.
