Life and Love of Madison and Kris

Chapter 1433: Game Day Flyers

The next morning Madison and Kris woke up when the alarm went off.   It was later then normal for them.

"Skate baby?" Madison asks.

"Nope I forgot I set it.   But there is no skate." Kris says.

"Okay." Madison says.

"Yeah I am going to order us breakfast and we can have breakfast in bed and just lay here and relax until we have to leave for the arena in a bit." Kris says.

"That sounds lovely." Madison says.

"Yeah they will have lunch at the arena for us and then we can order room service when we get back." Kris says.

"Okay baby." Madison says.

Kris calls in their order for breakfast and when it was delivered he brings it back to their room.    He sits down and they eat together.

"It's so weird not having the kids here with us." Kris says.

"I know but it was nice last night our night to ourselves." Madison says.

"I agree baby.   Looks like we may have more of them." Kris says.

"Yeah will have to see how the kinds handle us being away." Madison says.

"I know we will figure it out." Kris says.

"Yes we will baby because we are a team." Madison says.

"I know." Kris says kissing her head.

Kris puts the dishes from breakfast out to be collected.   He then heads back into the room.

"Can we watch a movie by the fire and snuggle?" Madison asks.

"Yes baby of course." Kris replies.

"Okay." Madison says.

They lay down on the bed Kris had lit a fire.   They were laying there watching Hallmark when Madison gets up and runs to the bathroom throwing up all her breakfast.   Kris gets up and stays with her.   He then gently carries her back to bed and orders ginger ale and toast.    Madison was curled up in a ball..

"What is wrong baby?" Kris asks.

"My side hurts." Madison cries.

"Is it the baby? " Kris asks worried.

"No its not that." Madison says.

"Okay." Kris says.

He climbs into bed with her and just holds her close to him.   Madison carefully rolls over to face him.   Kris kisses her head.

"Thank you." Madison says through tears.

"Always baby." Kris says.

Madison lays her head on his chest and ends up falling a sleep.

A few hours later Kris gets up and gets a shower and dresses in his suit.   He hated to wake Madison but she needed to get up so she could get ready and they weren't late for the bus.

"Baby its time to get up." Kris says kissing her.

"Okay." Madison says.

"Sorry, how are you feeling?" Kris asks.

"I am okay now.   No pain." Madison replies.

"We let's go." Kris says.

"Okay give me like five minutes to get myself together." Madison says.
