The next morning Madison and Kris wake up when the alarm go off.
"We have practice baby." Kris says.
"I know. We need to be careful the roads are probably terrible." Madison replies.
"Yes. I was thinking when we get back from practice we take the kids out to play." Kris says.
"They will like that. Also Nadia and I talked we are going to have a Sister sleepover tonight so you and Sid can have a date night." Madison says.
"Aww that is sweet but it is okay." Kris says.
"No you both do so much for us, we want to do this for you both." Madison says.
"Okay baby. I will talk to Sid." Kris replies kissing her head.
"Okay." Madison says.
They both get up and get dressed. Madison put on her Uggs, leggings and sweater dress with thermals and Kris's team sweatshirt.
"Cold baby?" Kris asks.
"Yes I am freezing. I know I am from Pittsburgh but I hate cold weather." Madison says.
"So you married a Canadian from Montreal who gets nailed with snow every year." Kris says.
"Yeah but during the winter we are usually here cus of the season." Madison says.
"True." Kris says.
They head downstairs. They meet the gang and head out to the car. They pile in and head to the practice facility. They arrive and head inside. Kris and the boys head into the locker room and Madison and the girls go and grab some food. They then head to the runway.
"What is going on with Desmith?" Taylor asks.
"Yeah is he okay?" Autumn asks.
"Yes he is sick with an illness.." Meredith says.
"Yes but its not Covid 19." Nadia says.
"Nope so he is taking it easy until he feels better." Madison says.
"I hope that is soon." Anna says.
They all nod their heads. Soon practice starts. It was an uneventful practice but looked promising. The guys leave the ice. Madison does what she needed to do and heads out to wait for the gang.
Kris heads off the ice and sheds his equipment. He then heads and does media. He hated zoom media cus it was so confusing. But somehow he ended up getting through it. He finished and heads to shower and change. He had just finished showering and was at his locker changing when Sid caught up to him.
"Damn I missed you in the shower." Sid says.
"Sorry baby, I was fast today." Kris replies.
"It's okay babe there will be many more showers." Sid says.
"Yes we will." Kris says.
Sid quickly showered. Kris waited. Sid comes back to change.
"You didn't have to wait for me baby." Sid says.
"I know but I wanted to. Nadia and Madison planned a Sister sleepover so we can have a date night together." Kris says.
"I know Nadia told me and I am okay with it." Sid says.
"Okay baby." Kris says.
"Yeah I hate having to sneak time with you after practice or games so it will be nice." Sid says.
