The next morning Madison and Kris woke up when the alarm went off.
"Good morning baby, Happy Birthday." Madison says.
"Good morning, thank you baby." Kris replies.
"Sorry it's an early game and sorry Sid left to go back to Nadia." Madison says.
"It is okay honestly because I know she is feeling pressure. And tomorrow is the second back to back game." Kris replies.
"I know baby." Madison says.
They both get up and get dressed. Kris put on his suit and Madison put on her jersey and jeans. They then head downstairs. Everyone meets there.
"Ruth and Trina both just left for the arena with the kids." Autumn says.
"Oh yay they will be there." Justin says.
"Yes they will. It will be nice." Taylor says.
"I am glad so we can celebrate Kris." Jake says.
"Yes that is good." Nadia says.
"Yes we can celebrate as family and a team." Sid says.
"Yes." Madison says.
"Thanks guys." Kris says.
"Welcome Kris, Happy Birthday." Meredith says.
"Yes Happy Birthday Kris." Tristan says.
They all wish him happy birthday. They chat as they head out to the car. Kris drives them to the arena. They arrive, park and head inside. They head into the meeting room. They had the cupcakes set up and the whole team and Kris's family come in.
"Happy Birthday Kris." Everyone says.
"Thanks." Kris says.
He then heads around the room to chat to everyone. The kids were happy. They finish their cupcakes. The kids head up to the Kris and the boys head to the locker room and Madison and the girls head to the runway after stopping to grab food. Not long after the boys hit the ice and warm ups begin. Thirty minutes later the boys come off the ice to line up. Kris goes over to Madison and steals a kiss.
"Good luck baby." Madison says.
"Thanks." Kris replies.
"Remember deep breath and focus on the game baby." Madison says.
"I know." Kris says.
"I love you." Madison says.
"I love you too." Kris says.
They share a few more kisses and then Kris lines up. Nadia and Madison took their seats. The boys head out onto the ice. The anthem is sung. The puck drops and the period starts. Nadia shifted in her chair.
"You okay?" Madison asks.
"Yeah just a lot of pressure." Nadia says.
"Just take it easy." Meredith says.
"Yes we are all right here if you need us." Taylor says.
"Yes so don't hesitate to ask us for anything." Autumn replies.
"Yes please ask us." Anna says.
The Penguins started off amazing and nine minutes into it it showed when Jeff scored. The girls cheered. A few minutes later the Devils took a penalty. While on the Power Play MCcann scored.
