The next morning Madison and Kris woke up when the alarm went off.
"Good morning baby. It's game day." Madison says.
"Good morning baby. I know I'm pumped." Kris replies.
"Well let's get up and head to the arena. I don't want you to be late." Madison says.
"Nope we don't want that." Kris says.
They both get up and get dressed. Kris put on his suit and Madison put on her gold jersey and capris. They then head downstairs. The gang meets there.
"Mom and Mom in law just left for the arena with the kids. They were so excited." Sid says.
"Yes they were and they made us breakfast sandwiches to take with us." Nadia says.
"Sounds good to us." Autumn says.
"Yes we can all eat before the game." Justin says.
"Yup that was the point to make sure we all got food into us." Taylor says.
"Smart idea." Jake says.
"Yes now we better go before we are late." Meredith says.
"Coach would kill us." Tristan says.
"No Captain will kill us." Geno says.
"Yes him too." Anna says.
"Let's go guys." Kris says.
"Lead the way." Madison replies.
They all head out to the car and pile in. They head to the arena. A few minutes later they arrive and park. Kris and the boys head to the locker room and Madison and the girls head to the runway. Not long after they got there the guys take the ice and warmups start.
Thirty minutes later the guys come off the ice. Kris goes to Madison.
"Good luck baby." Madison says.
"Thanks baby." Kris says.
"Remember deep breath and focus on the game and nothing else." Madison says.
"I know." Kris says.
"No matter what I love you. Now go out there and just play." Madison says.
"I love you too. Just play." Kris replies.
They share a few kisses. Kris lines up and the boys hit the ice. The anthem is sung. Finally the puck drops and the first period starts. Seven minutes into the first and the Islanders Score. The girls groan. The period continued. Four minutes later Freddy scored.
"Hell yeah." Meredith says.
"We are right back in this." Autumn says.
"Yes we are." Nadia says.
"What a goal." Taylor says.
"Yes it was." Madison says.
"Keep this up boys." Anna says.
The period went on with neither team scoring so the first ended with the game being tied 1-1. After a brief intermission the second period started. Not even three minutes into the period and Sid scored with an assist from Jake.
"Heck yeah baby!" Nadia says.
"He never ceases to amaze me with his goals." Madison says.
"Yay Jakey with a point." Taylor says.
"Let's keep this up." Autumn says.
"Right come on boys." Anna says.
"We look so good right now." Meredith replies.
