Chapter 1168: Media Day/Team cookout

The next morning  the alarm went off at the normal time.   Autumn and Justin both wake up.  Holley was snuggled up against Justin .

"Awww looks like our little Houdini came in, in the middle of the night." Autumn says.

"I see that she always knows when I need her." Sin moans  says kissing her head.

"She's always daddy's little girl no matter how old she gets." Autumn  says.

"Hard to believe she's going to be three ." Justin  says.

"I know." Autumn  says.

"She looks just like her mama." Justin  says kissing her head.

"With her daddy's hair and eyes." Autumn  replies.

Noelle opened her eyes looking up at Kris.

"I love you daddy." Holly says before smothering him in kisses.

"I love you too princess." Justin says kissing her right back.

It was the cutest thing ever.  

"Baby girl why don't you go down and go back to sleep with your siblings for a bit." Autumn says.

"Okay Mama." Holly says.

"Yes we will play with you guys when we get home from the practice facility." Justin replies.

Holly jumps off the bed and runs downstairs.   Autumn and Justin get up and get ready.

"I know you are bummed about the season baby, but you look good." Autumn says.

"I know but we blew it in the playoffs.   I just hope it wasn't my last game as a Penguin." Justin replies.

"Baby you rocked it out in the playoffs.   You poured your heart out onto the ice.   The loss wasn't your fault hell it wasn't even Tristan's.   I blame the goalie coach." Autumn says.

"I guess." Justin says.

"You played amazing all season." Autumn  says.

Autumn kisses him.   They then both get up and get dressed.   They head downstairs.    The boys meet them down there along with the girls.   

"So was thinking after clean out maybe we can do a team cookout before everyone leaves for the season." Justin says.

" That actually sounds like a good  idea." Sid says.

"Yes does.." Geno says.

"Sounds good to me." Kris says.

"Yeah me too too." Jake says.

"A little fun I guess to unwind." Tristan says.

"I will text the girls and coordinate it." Madison says.

"Yes plan on having it at 4." Nadia says.

"That's a good time." Autumn replies.

"Yes it is." Taylor says.

"Let's go get this over with." Meredith replies.

They head out to the car.     They all pile in and head to the practice facility.    They arrive and Kris's parks.    They head inside.   Justin and the boys head into the locker room.   Autumn heads to her office.      There wasn't much that she needed to take with her.      She takes what she needed putting it in her place.   She then takes one look around.

"See you in September office." Autumn says.

She heads out to watch Justin do media. N. Madison was proud of him for standing up for himself and the core.    The interview finished.   Autumn goes over and hugs him.
