The next morning Madison and Kris woke up when the alarm went off.
"Sorry baby, but I have to go to work and then we are flying back to Pittsburgh." Madison says.
"I know baby. I have my notes that I took last night I need to share with Sid and the coaches." Kris says.
"That will be helpful. How are you feeling?" Madison asks.
"I am feeling okay. Still in mild pain and discomfort but okay." Kris says.
"Good baby, I am glad." Madison says kissing him.
"Hmm wanna make some natural endorphins?" Kris asks kissing her back.
"Maybe later baby. I cannot be late." Madison says.
"Okay, I am going to hold you to that." Kris says.
"I bet you will." Madison says giggling.
She gets up and quickly packs. She then grabs a quick shower. Finally they take their luggage and head down to the bus. Once everyone was on board they head to the arena. Kris and the boys head to the locker room and Madison and the girls head to the runway. They grab food and then set up for the day.
"How is Kris doing?" Meredith asks.
"Doing good. It was a pulled muscle in his groin and we all know that hurts and can take a bit to heal. That stays off the record." Madison says.
"Absolutely. It stays between us. But I am glad its nothing serious." Taylor says.
"Yes this information stays between us and yes totally happy that he is doing okay." Autumn says.
"Yeah glad he is feeling better and I know Sid is happy too." Nadia replies.
"Yes we all are. We need Tanger on the ice." Anna says.
The guys take the ice and practice starts. Kris comes down and wraps his arms around Madison's waist.
"Hey baby." Madison says leaning up accepting the kiss he offered.
"Hey baby. Went over my notes with Sid and the coaches and they were accepting of them so let's see." Kris says.
"Glad you are feeling okay Kris." Taylor says.
"Yes and hope you return to the ice soon." Autumn says.
"We need you back out there." Anna says.
"Yes we do." Nadia says.
"Thanks girls." Kris replies.
They watch practice. Kris was taking more notes. He was really good at it and would make a great coach one day.
A little bit later practice ends and the boys go back into the locker room. Madison went to clean up and get ready to leave. She then heads to the bus. The girls join her not long after.
"So there is a lot of snow in Pittsburgh so I was thinking we can take the kids out and play when we get home." Autumn says.
"Oh that sounds like fun. We can give Mom and Dad and Ruth and Claude the night off." Taylor says.
"Yes I will make my chili and cornbread for dinner." Nadia says.
"Oh yes sounds like a fantastic plan." Meredith replies.
"Then it is settled. Snow day and chili for dinner." Madison says.
"Perfect." Anna replies.
