The next morning Madison and Kris woke up feeling the RV moving.
"What is going on?" Madison asks.
"Looks like we are heading home." Kris says.
"Who is driving?" Madison asks.
"I think Anna and Geno." Kris says.
"Oh well then we should get up and make breakfast for us and them." Madison says.
"Okay baby." Kris replies.
"Yes when we get home we will have to prepare for the snow storm that is coming our way." Madison says.
"Yes there are two headed our way. One on Monday and one Wednesday." Kris says.
"Then we really need to make sure we have groceries and everything else we need." Madison says.
"Yes figured the whole gang could quarantine at our house." Kris says.
"Sounds good to me." Madison replies.
"Okay." Kris says.
They both get up and get dressed. They make sure their suitcase were packed up. They then head downstairs. Everyone minus Geno and Anna meet there.
"Let's make breakfast and then we can entertain the kids until we arrive back in Pittsburgh." Justin says.
"That sounds good. Justin and I want to quarantine at the Letangs since there are two storms about to hit back to back." Autumn replies.
"Yeah Taylor and I were thinking the same thing." Jake says.
"Yes it will be easier and safer." Taylor says.
"Yeah Meredith and I were thinking the same thing as well.
"Yes hope that is okay?" Meredith asks.
"Absolutely sweetie y'all are welcome in our home anytime." Madison says.
"Absolutely guys. We are family." Kris says.
"Yes we are and Nadia and I are staying as well." Sid says.
"Yes we are." Nadia says.
The girls were happy cus they could have a big sleep over with the them and the kids and the guys were happy they could do a lot of training and getting ready for the season. The guys head into the kitchen to make breakfast sandwiches and the girls go and get the kids up and dressed. They then head to the dinning room. The guys bring them out and they sit down.
"We already took Geno and Anna a sandwich so they are good." Jake says.
"Yeah we are near Richmond so we are making good time." Sid says.
"Damn we are making good time." Justin says.
"Will be back to Pittsburgh in no time." Tristan says.
"Yes and then we will have to get ready for the snow." Kris says.
They all nod their heads in agreement. They finish eating and clean up the dishes. They then go and take the kids into the game room and get them set up to make crafts and fun activities Christmas related. It was fun and educational and it let the kids make presents for their parents. It was fun. They did them up until the time they pulled into Madison and Kris's driveway. They clean up the crafts and head off the RV. They head into the house.
"Okay we need to make a list of what we need." Autumn says.
"Yes so we can get the stuff we need to quarantine and be ready for snow." Taylor says.
"Right and we will have to get tests." Nadia says.
"I can get them." Madison says.
"Good now lets plan." Meredith says.
"Okay let's go." Anna says.
"While you girls make lists and such us guys are going to train." Jake says.
"Yeah and do a little skating." Sid says.
"Gotta prepare for the season." Justin says.
"Yes we have about a month to prepare." Kris says.
"Its going to be crazy." Tristan says.
"Yes will." Geno says.
They guys then head down to the gym to workout. The girls tuck the kids into their fort for their naps. They then head out to the store. They go grocery shopping and make sure they have food for at least three weeks. They also got toilet paper, paper towels and other necessities. They then head to Lowes and grab shovels and salt. Their last stop of the day was to get gas for the snow blowers. They then head back to the house and get everything into the house. They put everything away and get the kids up from their naps. They then make lunch. The boys come up from the gym and they sit down to eat. They then clean up and head out onto the ice and play a little hockey with the kids.
A little bit later they come off the ice and the guys go and shower. The girls make chicken stir fry and chicken fried rice for dinner. They all sit down and eat. When they finished they clean up. They then go and play a few games with the kids. Finally they get them settled down into their fort in their pajamas.
"So guys you can watch one movie before bed." The girls say.
"The Grinch." The kids reply.
"The Grinch it is." The guys reply.
They were actually able to watch the cartoon version of the Grinch and the Jim Carey version before it was time for the kids to go to bed. They get them tucked in. Once they were all out they head out onto the patio. The guys got the fire going, Hallmark turned on and set up the Poker game. The girls grab snacks and wine and beer. They sit down and start to play a few rounds of poker.
"Let's play a little poker." Geno says.
"Yes while we wait for the snow." Anna says.
"I know crazy but I missed it." Taylor says.
"Yeah my little snow bunny." Jake says.
"Ha well she is a true Canadian at heart." Sid replies.
"Yes you Canadians love your snow." Nadia says.
"True fact." Madison replies.
"Yes we love our snow." Kris says.
"Yes we do." Justin says.
"I love snow too." Autumn says.
"So do I." Meredith says.
"That is good." Tristan says.
They chat and snack a little more as they play a few more rounds of poker. They then switched over to Card of Humanity. It was fun.
A little bit later they decided to turn in. The guys put out the fire and clean up the games while the girls clean up the snacks and drinks. Madison and Kris check on the kids and and then head up to their room. They get ready for bed and climb in.
"How are you feeling baby?" Kris asks.
"I am feeling fine. I am glad to be home in Pittsburgh." Madison says.
"I am too baby. But home is wherever you and the kids are." Kris says.
"And Sid and Nadia." Madison says.
"Yes baby Sid and Nadia too." Kris says kissing her head.
"We should get some sleep. I am pretty sure the kids will want to play in the snow." Madison says.
"Oh for sure." Kris replies.
"Goodnight baby. I love you so much." Madison says.
"Goodnight baby, I love you even more." Kris says.
They snuggle together falling into a much needed sleep.
