The next morning Madison and Kris wake up when the alarm went off.
"Sorry baby but we have practice. They were going to cancel it but given we have two games back to back and they don't want us practicing on top of it we have to have practice today." Kris says.
"I know baby. I get it." Madison says.
"Yes and then tonight is your night." Kris replies.
"I know I am excited actually." Madison says.
"Good baby. You are going to absolutely love it." Kris says.
"I know baby no matter what I will." Madison says.
"Actually practice is cancelled so we don't have to go." Kris says.
"I just saw that. That is good we can spend time with the kids." Madison replies.
"Yes it is going to be nice out so we can go out and play." Kris says.
They both get up and get dressed. They then head downstairs. The gang meets there.
"Okay sine there is no practice this morning lets make breakfast and then we can do whatever the kids want to do." Sid says.
"That sounds like a plan." Nadia says.
"Yes and its supposed to be nice out so hopefully we can play outside." Kris says.
"Yes that would be nice." Madison replies.
"Well us guy will get breakfast started and then you girls can get the kids up." Justin says.
"Sounds good." Autumn says.
They guys head into the kitchen to make breakfast and the girls go and get the kids up and dressed. They then go and set the table. Soon the guys bring the food out and they sit down and eat. After they finished eating the girls go and clean up the dishes and the guys take the kids into the game. The girls joined them when they finished.
"So no practice today so we can do whatever you kids want to do." Jake says.
"Yes we can and its going to be nice out so maybe we can go outside." Taylor says.
"Deck hockey." Micah and Olivia both say.
"That would be fun." Tristan says.
"And would count as extra practice." Meredith says.
"Yes Deck hockey!" The kids all say.
The guys grab their gear and they head outside. They get set up and divide into two teams. The girls go and sit down around the fire pit to watch.
"Are you excited about tonight?" Autumn asks.
"I am actually. I cannot wait to see what you and the others came up with." Madison says.
"Kayla and the girls decorated with the help of the kids. They are excited too." Nadia says.
"Yes its going to be great." Taylor says.
"I love you girls and I appreciate it." Madison says.
"You do it for us." Anna says.
"Yes you do." Meredith says.
They chat as they watch their men play with the kids. They played a few games before calling it a day. They all head inside. Madison and the girls go and fix lunch. They turned on a movie for the kids.
Kris decided he was going to go get a shower. He goes and showers and changes. He came back downstairs. Sid was sitting in the game room lost in thought.
