The next morning Madison woke up to the smell of something amazing. She sits up as Kris brings a tray of food into the room.
"What's this?" Madison asks.
"Breakfast in bed my love." Kris replies.
"It smells amazing." Madison says.
"Well let's see if it tastes as amazing as it smells." Kris says sitting down.
"No skate today?" Madison asks.
"It's optional and I'm opting not to. And Mario gave you the morning off too." Kris says kissing her head.
"Well let's eat." Madison says.
They dig into their food. When they finish eating Kris puts the dishes outside.
"That was amazing." Kris says.
"Yes it was." Madison replies.
"Happy anniversary baby to the first day we met when I walked into your office for the first time four years ago." Kris says.
"Happy anniversary baby. What a great four years it's been. I wouldn't change a single thing." Madison says.
"Me either baby." Kris says kissing her.
"Let's just enjoy the day." Madison says.
They both climb back in bed and snuggle as they watch a movie on Disney Plus. When it ended they turned on Hocus Pocus. After that was over they ordered lunch from room service. Madison gets up and presses his suit for that night. She then gets her jersey and jeans out. Finally they snuggle in for a nap.
"Get some rest baby." Kris says kissing her head.
"You too." Madison says.
They snuggle together falling into a much needed nap.
A few hours later the alarm goes off and Madison and Kris wake up. They both get up and get ready. Kris puts on his suit and Madison puts on her jersey and jeans. They then head down to the bus and get on taking their seats. Once everyone was on board they take off to the arena. They arrive and get off. Kris and the boys head to the locker room and Madison and the girls go and grab food first and then head to the runway. Not long after the boys take the ice and warmups begin. Thirty minutes later the guys come off the ice and Kris goes to Madison. He steals a kiss.
"Good luck baby. You got this." Madison says.
"Thanks baby." Kris says.
"Remember deep breath and just focus on playing." Madison says.
"I know. I love you." Kris says.
"I love you too." Madison replies.
They share a few kisses and then Kris lines up with the boys. They take to the ice and line up. The anthem is sung and the puck drops to start period one. Right off the bat the Caps where up to no good as per usual. Things started to get dicey. They end up taking a penalty giving the Penguins a power play. During the PP Geno scores off a re direct from Kris. Jake got an assist on it too.
"Hell yeah baby Kris with that assist." Madison says.
"Geno with the goal." Anna says.
"Jakey got in on that action." Taylor says.
"Its nice to see them scoring on the PP now." Autumn says.
"Yes and its nice seeing Trist with his confidence back." Meredith replies.
