Chapter 1497: Practice/ Spa Day

The next morning Madison and Kris woke up when the alarm went off.

"Good morning baby." Kris says kissing her head.

"Good morning." Madison says.

"Are you okay?" Kris asks.

"Yeah baby I am fine." Madison says.

"I have something planned after practice." Kris replies.

"Okay baby.  I can't wait to see what it is." Madison says kissing his chest.

"Good.   Now have you heard from Meredith?  I saw they put Geno on IR and was wondering if she said anything?" Kris asks.

"Yeah she messaged us girls late last night/early this morning.   He has a slit ACL tear.     They are hoping if he rehabs it and stays off of it for a bit it will heal on its own and he will not need to have surgery right now." Madison says.

"Wow that is crazy." Kris replies.

"I know.   So she is glad she stayed behind to help Trina and Ruth with the kids and help Anna take care of Geno." Madison says.

"Yeah that is good.   Poor G.  He was just getting going and then some asshole takes him out like that." Kris replies.

"I know.   But I am glad that he was smart and didn't try to play because I know how stubborn you guys can be." Madison replies.

"Yeah I know.   But since I met and married you I have gotten better at that.   I have learned to listen to my body." Kris says.

"I know baby.   I am proud of you too." Madison says.

They both get up and get dressed.   They then head down to the bus.   Once everyone was on board they head to the arena to practice.   They arrive a little bit later and head inside.    Kris and the boys head to the locker room.    Madison and the girls head to the runway to get ready for practice.

"So isn't that crazy about G?" Nadia asks.

"Yeah I know poor guy.   Also feel bad for Anna cause it is so early on in her pregnancy." Madison says.

"Yes but she has Meredith there to help thank god.   And she specialized in Sports Medicine and Ortho so she is perfect." Taylor replies.

"Yes she did." Autumn says.

They chat a little more as the guys trickled onto the ice.    It was nice to see McCann join the team for practice.      Practice starts.   Nothing crazy happened.   They were glad about that.    Madison finished what she needed to do and then headed out to the bus.

Kris heads off the ice.   He sheds his equipment and heads to do his media.   A little bit later he goes and heads back to the locker room.   He wanted to shower so he could head back to the bus.    He grabs his bag and heads to the showers.   He grabbed the last stall.  He heads in and turns on the water.   A few minutes later he feels arms snaking around his waist.

"Hey babe." Sid says kissing his back.

"Hey back at ya babe." Kris replies.

"I waited for you to get my shower." Sid says.

"Thanks baby." Kris says turning to face him.

Sid brushes a piece of hair out of his face.

"Your hair has gotten so long babe.   I love it." Sid says.

"Thanks.  I usually don't let it get this long but there are only a few people that I will let touch it." Kris says.

"I know.   But I love it." Sid says.

"I am glad babe." Kris says smiling.

"I love you Kris." Sid says.

"I love you too Sid." Kris replies.

They meet for a kiss.   That was it as soon as their lips met it was like the rest of their bodies took over.  They end up going at it in the shower a few times before actually showering.    They finish and change.  They head out to the bus.    

Kris takes his seat next to Madison and they head to the hotel.   Kris and Madison head up to their room.

"Okay so what did you have planned?" Madison asks.

"A Spa day you and me." Kris says.

"Oh baby I like that idea." Madison says.

"Figured you would." Kris says.

They get ready and head down to the spa.   They were taken into their own private room.   They got a mud bath, facial, massage, a wrap, the whole nine yards.   They then even got a mani and a pedi.    They even got lunch while there as well.

"Thanks baby." Madison says.

"Welcome baby." Kris says.

"I am so glad you will do this with me." Madison says.

"I like having my nails and toes done from time to time.   I don't get polish or anything." Kris says.

"I know." Madison says.

They finish up and head back up to their hotel room.  They facetime with the kids and then Kris orders dinner.   When it comes they sit around eating.   After they finished Kris puts the dishes outside.

"So what do you want to do?" Kris asks.

"Let's just relax and watch a movie or something since we have to get up early tomorrow." Madison replies.

"That sounds good to me." Kris says.

Madison presses his suit she then makes sure her jersey was ready to go.   Finally she makes sure they were packed and ready to go.   She then climbs in bed with Kris.   They snuggle together.    Kris turns on Friends and they lay there watching it.   They got through quite a few episodes laughing at it and relaxing.       

"We better get to bed." Madison says.

"Yeah I know its going to be an early game and then we have to fly back to Pittsburgh." Kris says.

"Yes and it is the first game of back to backs." Madison says.

"I know and we need to win." Kris replies.

"You guys will get it together." Madison says.

"Yeah I know we will." Kris replies.

"Have faith baby.   You guys play your best hockey when your backs against the wall." Madison replies.

"True fact baby." Kris says.

They make love a few times before snuggling close to each other.

"Now we really should get some sleep.  I need you to be on your A game." Madison says.

"I know baby." Kris replies.

"Get some much needed sleep baby." Madison says taking her spot on his chest.

"I will, you too." Kris says kissing her head.

"Goodnight baby, I love you." Madison says.

"Goodnight baby, I love you too." Kris says.

They snuggle together falling into a much needed sleep.
