Everyone was gathered around Magnolia park for one of big annual 24-hour endurance road race. I'm excited for this years. Last time I didn't win because of stupid Jet and his magic. This time I'm gonna win. Every Fairy Tail member has to take part in it.
"So cool! Good morning and welcome to today's highly anticipated event. Fairy Tail's mandatory for all wizards 24 hours endurance road race has arrive and we're bringing you every heart pounding seconds. I'm everyone's favorite sorcerer weekly's reporter Jason and I'll be your guide of today's sweet action. It's filling up fast out here so ya better hurry if you wanna witness this sweet what sure to be the coolest race in fairy tail history!" Jason the reporter announced.

Jason gasps. "There he is folks. The reigning and undefeated champion 'Lighting fast Jet.'" Jason spotted Jet, who was already smirking like he was going to win. I glare at him. "Rumor has it he does this to compensate for being lackluster on quest. Scandalous." Jason teased him. "Hey!" Jet glared at him. "Cool it, speed demon it's only a rumor." Jason puts a hand out to defend himself.
"Jet's still the fan favorite. Everybody put their money on him again." Gray mutters annoyed. "Ha! Well I hope they're ready to lose it. This years champion's gonna be Salamander." Natsu said getting excited. "Big talking morons are sure to end up in a ditch before they get close to the finish line." Gajieel spat at him. "But those morons don't have a secret weapon like I do." Natsu smirked to himself. I let out an air bubble. "Fire breather's blowing up smoke. Geez you're such a child." Gray teased him figuring out his plan to win. The three of us grin at each other. "Well, you three are sure are looking lively." Alastor said.
I chuckle. "This race is as good as mine." I placed my hands on my hips. "You sure are confidant." Gray looks down at me. "I've been holding back all these years but this time I'm gonna go all out." I told him. No one can beat me and my fas flying wings. "Sure, you plan on using those wings of yours, right?" He had a smug look on his face. I growled inside. "Let's see if you can beat them ice boy!" I grin. "You're on!" He said. Kilala meowed and wiggled her tail. "You give it your all too Kilala." I kneeled down and petted her. She snuggled in my hand.
"Everyone quiet down! Fairy Tail wizards know, without the proper balance of intelligence and physical endurance, they are doomed to failure! Over the next twenty-four- hours, you'll those attributes against each other." Master Makarov started to explain the event.
"A real man never uses his brains." Elfman said. I sweat dropped. "Yeah, physical strength is all that matters in a race like this." Gray pointed. I sigh. "You guys are idiots. Which is why you'll lose." I argued earning a glare from then.
"The rules are very simple. From the starting line, each of you will make your way along a predetermined course, ending at Mount Iborn. The summit's been prepared with heavy wyvern scales you are to grab one and bring it back. Once it's across the finish line, you've completed the race and proven yourself a worthy member of fairy tail! Never forget, forfeiting the is not an option for any of you. Fairy Tail wizards pride themselves on our willingness to go to that extra mile. I've decided to put a new restriction in place for this years event. After numerous complaints I've decided the use of flying magic is now forbidden." Master Makarov announced.
