"It's been too long. Let's get back to work!" Natsu shouted as he and Happy ran up to the request board. "Whadda we got here?" He mutters scanning the board. "Hey, how about we give this one a try?" Happy showed him a request. It was a request to capture a wanted man. "So all we gotta do is capture this jail breaker guy called Velveno? And they'll pay us four million jewel?" Natsu questioned seeing it was a simple quest for them.
"Oh yeah, now we're talkin'!" I peeked over his shoulder to look at the request. He was startled by my sudden appurtenance. "My rent might be cleared up but I'm seriously needing money for some good old Melon Bread." I said getting excited for the job.
"What are we waiting for? I'm broke and I need rent money too." Lucy smiled. Lucy had told everyone in the guild that her father had passed a month ago. I wanted to ask her how she was holding up but it seems she's doing just fine.
"We haven't decided if we're gonna take it yet." Happy mentions. "Well, we sure could use the money, too. So I say let's do it!" Natsu suggested as he handed me the money.
"Hmm." Alastor hums. Kilala jumps on my shoulder. "Hey, doesn't this job seem kind of familiar?" Alastor asked them. "Wait, didn't Gray almost take a job catching an escaped convict a little while ago?" I asked remembering seeing something like this.
"This is the same one but back then the reward was only four thousand jewel." Happy pointed out the price difference. "For some reason, he's way more valuable than he used to be." Natsu said confused.
"Who's the client?" Lucy asked me peeking over my shoulder. "Uh, some guy called Balsamico? That's a pretty sour name, huh?" Natsu teased the guys name that it sounded just like a sauce. "He'll go great on on your salads!" Happy joked.
"Count Balsamico? Ya know, rumor has it that Velveno is gonna make an appearance at the huge magical ball that the Balsamico family is throwin' this year." My mom points out. Since Naruto is Hokage now she decided to spend some time here in Magnolia to catch up the seven years we missed not only that but my childhood.
"What the heck are you talkin' about?" Natsu questioned her. "They throw a big fancy, party every seven years. It's very exclusive; you've gotta be a wizard to even get through the door. The next one's happenin' this Saturday." Wakaba explains.
"Alright, then let's crash this rich guys party this week and walk out four million jewel richer!" Happy cheered up in the air. "Sounds like a plan. I'm fired up." Natsu said getting excited.
"Melon Bread money here I come!" I clapped my hands.
"Wait, I just thought of something, you guys." Lucy stopped us. "If were gonna go to this high class ball, were all gonna need to work on our dance moves first. Don't ya thing?" Lucy suggested.
"Our dance moves?" Natsu shouted not liking the idea. "You gotta be kiddin'!" I also shouted.
