I see the corner of Maleks lip twitch in amusement with my comment as we all place our fingers in the sides of the planchette.
"I'll go" Jesse says before taking a deep breath
"Spirits" she says as we all now slowly move the planchette around in 3 circles. They placed the candles on the 4 corners of the sheet of paper so it isn't able to move around. This is the most ratchet Ouija board I've ever seen, no way it actually works.
"If there is any spirits out there we want to contact you" she says as we bring the planchette to a halt.
Suddenly seconds later it starts to move and I start to shake, just barely touching the corner
"Guys" I say as Jesse quickly shh's me
I moves across the board up to the yes? Ew ew ew ew
"Are you a good spirit?" She asks and it almost immediately shoots across the board to 'No'
"Guys I don't like this" I say instinctively moving closer to Malek out of fear.
"Will you hurt us?" She asks and it moves down the board and lands on 'Y'
"That's yes" Aaron says and my stomach twists
"I want to stop" I say and suddenly It starts spelling something
'G'.. 'E'.. 'T'.. 'O'.. 'U'.. 'T'..
suddenly it shoots to goodbye and the candles go out and I scream shooting over towards Malek grabbing his arm in fear
"Shit" I hear Aaron say and Jesse just looks around shocked
"Did you do that?!" I scream looking over at Aaron and Jesse then up to Malek as I slightly compose myself, releasing my grasp on Maleks arm, embarrassed.
"No" Aaron, Jesse and Malek say almost immediately in unison
"I'm not going to sleep now" I say almost shaking in fear
"It's fine, that's all phycological right, it's not real" Aaron says and Jesse nods
"It better not be" I say and Jesse continues to reassure me
"I'm heading to bed though, real talk I'm tired" Aaron says after a few more moments. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
"I'm going with you" Jesse says almost immediately
"Guys I'm too scared to now go sit in my room alone" I say honestly
"I'm not tired" Malek says after a moment of silence
"You guys can watch a movie or something we still have that DVD player with movies, but I'm going with him" Jesse says standing up with Aaron.
"Thanks guys" I say rolling my eyes at them but Jesse just mouths "I'm sorry" before grabbing the blanket and walking with Aaron to his room. What assholes.
"I'm not going to sleep tonight" I say sinking into the couch keeping a watchful eye of the dark corners in the room
"You will" Malek says with a slight grin
"Can we watch something happy?" I say looking over at the DVD player
Malek then stands and walks to the shelf where the books are kept before pulling out an old DVD player with a movie sleeve. I quickly rearrange the blankets around me, making sure My skin isn't exposed in anyway to the atmosphere around me as he comes back and sits down.
"How can you sit there like that?" I say looking at him in his sweats, now holding the blanket wrapped so close around me only my head is popping out.
