57. Moscow

The plane lands in the city of Moscow as we exit off the plane walking out into the cold weather, it's now mid fall and the snow should be falling any week now for the northern hemisphere.

I regret only wearing a Sports bra under my hoodie now more than ever, I ignore it as we walk out of the airport bagless as some people stare at us.

"We need to get out of town and follow the main road towards St. Petersburg" Violet says and Jeremy nods. We walk further and further entering into the city as people give us odd looks as we walk in a group when Cliff dips into an Alley where a man is getting out of a large white van?

  Cliff turns to Violet before nodding to her. She nods back before walking towards the man as he turns to her confused before speaking in Russian, Violet raises her hand and starts speaking under her breath as his eyes roll back for a second.

  Suddenly the man snaps back into it and hands Violet the keys without any hesitation, stepping out of the way.

  "Shift it" Cliff says to us as we all go for the doors of the van, Cliff grabbing the keys from Violet as we all shuffle in the back, Violet taking the passenger seat.

   I sit back in my seat in the middle and Cliff pulls out of the ally and starts driving as Violet searches the glove box for a map before pulling one out to our complete dumb luck.

  "Go up this road and turn left" Violet says quickly directing Cliff as we make our way out of the city undetected

"Do you think they know were here?" Holly asks from the back seat

  "Let's go into this assuming they do" Jeremy says and we all nod

  We follow the street out into the open road driving past empty fields.

  "How far?" Willow asks leaning forward looking at the map

  "Not too much further" Violet says picking at her fingers as we've now been driving for at least 45 minutes

  "There" Violet points to a dirt road that pulls off the main road

  Cliff slows to a roll before turning onto it as we drive down the abandon looking dirt road.

  My stomach twists into a knot as my nerves grow larger and larger. Was this a mistake?

  "We have to disable the magnetic force from outside or our powers won't work inside" Violet says and Cliff nods

  We pull up over a hill and it's there. The prison. It is a plain white building with no windows and a electric guarded fence around it.

  "Shit" Cliff mumbles slowing down

"I can deal with the guards coming in but once past the gate we have to find the power source and shut the building down" Violet says

  "Okay" Cliff says as we pull up to the military guarded fence. Shit.

  Cliff rolls down his window as the man raises his rifle to Cliff as he starts shouting something in Russian. Shit. Shit. Shit.

  Violet immediately starts speaking and I watch as his eyes roll back for a second before he comes back to it. He nods before lowering his gun, standing back from the car before yelling up to the fence guards.

  They open the gate for us and the man nods us through as Cliff rolls through the gate and my stomach twists.

  I then hear yelling from behind the gate as it closes from behind us. I spin around in my seat seeing another guard walking up to the one who approved us as he starts yelling.

  "Guys" Willow says seeing the same thing.

  "Don't panic" Cliff says sternly pulling up to the front of the building when suddenly the men at the gate raise their weapons at us

  "GUYS" I say now scared as we all watch them March towards us. Shit. Shit. Shit.

  "We have to go" Violet says opening her door and getting out

  We all follow in a rush out the side of the vehicle as we run for the entrance also guarded.

  Violet quickly deals with the man as he raises his weapon as the other guards start to circle in and my heart races.

  "RUN" Violet yells opening the main door as we book it in the building past more guards as they start yelling at us.

   We run through the main entrance and head for the stairs to the next level and make it as now the men have entered into the building screaming while chasing us when I hear bullets. FUCK.

  We run through a door as we book it down another empty white hall towards what looks like a big metal door.

  Cliff turns as we're running before reaching out and I look as he starts to build a large rock wall behind us blocking the guards.

  We make it to the big metal door when a Siren starts to alarm as a red light flashes through the building.

  "Past this our powers won't work" Violet says and I panic. We quickly search the rooms next to the big metal doors searching for the electrical room or anything that can help us.

  Suddenly the big metal doors swing open as men flood out into our hallways holding guns.

  I scream as we duck into a room shutting the door as Cliff blocks it with a rock wall.

  "Holly?!" I say looking around and she's missing?! We left her out there

  "Fuck" Jeremy says as we back away from the entrance while Cliff looks for anything that can help us get out of this.

  "Guy" Willow says as a beeping sound comes from outside the door?

  We back away to the far corner of the room when suddenly an explosion goes off as rock shoots across the room in every direction, it's so foggy and dusty I can't see anything, the ringing in my ears are defending as I can't manage to keep my balance or find which way is up I'm so disoriented.

  I manage to look up and they have blown a small hole in the rock entrance when I see them throw something inside?

  It's metal and it ticks on the ground when suddenly it opens and gas starts filling the room out of it?!

   "COVER YOUR MOUTH" Aaron shouts as he flys it across the room moving the gas out of the room back out into the hallway.

  I cough and wipe away the dirt and smoke out of my eyes when 2 more gas tanks are thrown in and Aaron is already dealing with it.

  Suddenly a large hole is punched through the wall across the room connecting to the room beside this one and I hear bullets fly and the next thing I know I feel faint.

  I manage to look down and see something sticking out of my leg as the room spins around me. I look to Aaron and he becomes foggy, I fall to the ground as everything goes black.
