17. dont be a chicken

  "We should play chicken" Jesse says sparking up another one of her grand ideas. Obviously I would have to partner with Malek and I'm not exactly as light as Jesse would be either. I don't think this is a great idea.

  I sit up in the water and Jesse is already up ontop of Aaron's shoulders waiting.

  I turn around and Malek looks at me then up at Jesse as she now begs us as Aaron calls us chicken.

Malek rolls his eyes at them before moving across the pond towards me, I feel as he slides his hand against my bare side under the water moving me infront of him. It's very distracting

  "You guys are stupid" he says before dunking down under the water, I quickly try and move giving him room when he suddenly pops up under me lifting me out of the water like it's nothing. I grip his hair tight trying to steady myself when I hear him say "easy kid" under his breath, immediately I loosen my grip. Something about his words ring with me in a good way.

   "Start!" Jesse says as Aaron moves closer to us. Malek grips my thighs tight against his shoulders, something about him being so close to me in this way is very, very distracting.

  Jesse leans forward and grabs my arm pulling me towards her as I grab hers and start pushing her away

  "Get her" Aaron says encouraging her as he moves around to my side, Malek quickly adjusting aswell

  "Come on" Malek says as I start to push Jesse back.

  She pushs back and forth but I'm finally able to pull Jesse down off Aaron's shoulders.

  "You got this" I hear Malek say from under me as he then kisses my inner thighs quickly in encouragement but I can't manage to think of anything else now. Fuck.

  I rest my hand on his head and slightly tangle my fingers in his hair as Jesse climbs back up onto Aaron's shoulders. Why was he rude to me last night but like this today?

  We start again as Jesse pushes me harder this time and if I had been a little more focused at the beginning and not distracted by Malek I probably would've been able to save myself. I fell in almost immediately pulling Malek back with me as he refused to let me go down.

  I come up out of the water to Jesse laughing when Malek also pops up.

  "Easy redemption" she says crossing her arms and resting them above Aaron's head and he laughs

  "Someone was distracted" Aaron says and that makes my cheeks go red.

  We end up floating around a while longer before stepping out of the water. I can feel Maleks eyes glued to my body without even looking. I quickly grab my towel and wrap myself up before grabbing my clothes as I follow everyone as we head back up to the common room

   "Lunch is ready" Jesse says as we make it back up and food is served on the table, the guard then leaving the group and heading into Dr Martins office

  "I'm gunna wash off" I say and she nods as we all end up walking back to the showers, Aaron and Jesse sharing one as they quickly wash off while me and Malek take showers the other side leaving one open shower between us.

  They must be hungry but Aaron and Jesse finish up and grab a new towel before walking out of the bathroom leaving just me and Malek now.

   I look over at him and he looks over at me after a second as he rinses off the soap he just ran over his chest and torso. I immediately look back into my shower and avoid eye contact as I rinse the the pond water off my face and hair. Why is he so distracting, I can t get the play back of him kissing my thigh and running my hands through his hair out of my head.
