When we got to my house, I jumped off the horse. I turned around and saw how he looked down. I think he is actually crying. I walked over towards him. He looked the opposite direction from me. "Marco-" I started saying but he cut me off. "I-I got to go, see you around I guess." He said rudely before taking off. I watched as the black horse ran faster and faster away from me. A tear fell from my eye. I actually thought he would say good bye, but he didnt. I cant believe him. I turned around. I wiped a tear from my eye. I need to stay strong for Jonah. He is probably more sad than I am. I took a deep breath before turning the doorknob. When I walked inside, it smelt, different. It smelt like old, dusty wood. I walked around and looked at everything. It still looked the same as I left it. I heard crying coming from down the hall. I walked down the hall and went into Jonah's room. And sure enough, there he was, sitting on his bed crying. "Buddy whats wrong?" I asked him. His face was buried in his pillow. He didn't look up. I walked over to him and picked him up and sat him down on my lap. I wiped away the tears from his eyes. His eyes were bright red and they were puffy. He must have been crying all night long. He stopped crying. "Mom still isn't back yet. Shes 4 days late." He told me. I never realized that she was actually suppose to be home 4 days ago. "Its ok buddy, remember what I told you last night? That if she wasn't back by today, then we would look for her tomorrow." I asked him. He nodded his head. "Y-yea." He stutterd. "So, if she isn't back, then we'll go look for her, okay?" I asked him. He nodded his head. "Good, so stop crying and start packing, once your done packing, I want you to get some rest, I will wake you up when its time for dinner." I told him. He nodded his head and got out of bed and started packing. It was already 3:30 p.m. So I need to get busy making dinner. I went in the kitchen and started cooking.
