Chapter 20

After dinner, I walked downstairs. I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around and see Marco staring at me blankly. I forgot he was here. I sigh and continue walking downstairs. He walks faster and catches up to me. "Hey, look Im sorry." He said breaking the ice. "For what?" I asked confused. I'm not mad at him. What would I be mad about now? "For being a jerk on that mountain. I shouldn't have said those things. And I sorry." He says. I turn and look to him. "I said I already forgave you, you don't have to keep apologizing. " I told him. "So your not mad right now?" He asked. "No, why would I be mad, I said I forgave you." I told him. "Oh ok, I thought you were mad." He said. "Was mad, but not anymore." I told him. He sighed in relief. "But..." I started. He sighed. "But you will have to make it up to me." I told him. He groaned. "Do I have to?" He asked boredly. "Yes if you want us to be friends again. " I told him. "But I thought when you forgave me we became friends again." Marco said sadly. I smiled. He really does want to be my friend. "Well than you thought wrong." I told him. "Awe man, I was really hoping we could be more than friends." He pouted. I blushed. He chuckled and kissed my cheek. I blushed even more (if that was possible). "Well than you'll have to earn your way to that too." I told him. He stuck out his bottom lip and pouted. I giggled. He smiled. We walked to the living room and saw Mrs. Kendra. "Oh hey guys. Marco your dad called, she said she is on her way and will be here in about 5 minutes." She told him. "Oh ok. Thanks." He told her. "No problem and you are welcomed here anytime." She said and walked off. Marco turned towards me. "Maybe tomorrow I can help you and Jonah find your mom." He offered. "Ya that'd be great." I told him. He smiled and nodded. We got interrupted when a car horn honked. "See you tomorrow." He said. I nodded my head and waved. He waved then left. I sighed then went upstairs and fell onto my bed. "So, you and Marco? Are you a couple?" Stacy asked. "No, not..... Yet." I mumbled. "Eek! I'm totally a shipper! Your ship name is Mami." Jessica squealed. I laughed. "Whatever, let's just go to sleep." I told them. "Your changing the subject!" Stacy yelled. "Yes I am but if you want to hear more, I will tell you in the morning." I told them. They groaned. "Fine." Jessica mumbled. I giggled to myself and the lights turned off. "Goodnight girls." I told them. "Goodnight." The replied back. I turned on my side and let sleep take over my mind.

Ok so look. I'm sorry I haven't been updating but I PROMISE I will update a (huge) chapter every two days. It's just I've been busy with school, track, softball, homework, and practicing for Band, that I just don't have very much free time anymore. 😭
But tonight I have a surprise! I'm going to spend ALL of my free time writing as MANY as chapters (with 10 or more pages) in them! So wish me luck and keep reading!!!!
