It was another beautiful day in Mondstadt. People were drinking, eating, playing around, and basically doing whatever they want. Such were normal in the land of freedom. There were a lot of things to get done for an adventurer here. Bounties, requests, commissions, orders, deliveries, and a whole lot more.

Today, you've been tasked to give a person some gemstones of certain gems. Which meant that you needed to craft some at the alchemy table near the fountain. You arrive near the fountain, carrying the bag of fragments and chunks needed to craft the gemstone. 

Afraid of people's gazes, you quickly rush towards the alchemy table, covering your face using your hands. But the spot where Timaeus should be, is currently occupied by someone else. A girl who seems to be lost in thought.

"U-um, may I use this table..? Or are you currently using it?" You shyly approach and ask the girl. But she yelps in reply.

"Ah..! I-I'm sorry! F-feel free to use it however you wish!" She bows, and then quickly gets out of the way of the alchemy table. 

"N-no! It's fine! I was just... thinking that maybe you were currently using it and I didn't want to be rude..!" You reassure her. Or at least, attempt to reassure her.

"Ah! I'm so sorry for the misunderstanding!" She bows once again as you wave both of your hands, gesturing that she should dismiss it. It appears that she was as paranoid, and shy as you. Meaning that the two of you would be the quiet types. Possible friendship maybe? 

But that also means that both of you would apologize on and on. Like you would make a mistake and then apologize, but then she apologizes for making you apologize. And it just becomes an entire loop. Even if you don't know her that much, you could tell that she was a good person.

You then get to crafting your gemstones as she watches from the sidelines. While waiting for it to craft, there were some brief moments of awkward silence. You pretend to not notice and just focus on crafting, but this silence is really painful.

It looked as if she was also trying to start a conversation to end this debacle called awkward silence. But since the two of you were shy, and barely knew each other, you both didn't know how exactly to start a conversation.

Thinking of what sort of topics, what humor, what would entertain the other, such thoughts were keeping both of you busy. Although, you still were continuing in making some gemstones, you still wanted to interact with girl. 

Seeing that you had no more materials to craft, it appears that your job was already done and ready to be submitted to the one who requested it. You brought little bags with you to bring along the materials you've crafted but only problem is, there were three bags and you only had two hands.

You bring along the two bags on both of your hand. You think that you should just come back to get the last bag after you've submitted the ones you're currently holding. Although, the girl seems to have noticed this, and started walking forwards.

"W-would you like some help with those..?" She asks, confidently, but her voice was shaking.

"A-ah! N-no! It's fine..! I don't want to trouble you..!"  You refuse her offer. You really didn't want to become a burden on someone so, you were deciding on taking the long routes instead of asking someone for help to make it all short and easy. You really didn't want to waste anyone's time.

"I insist. I-I can help..!" She puts her hand on her chest as she leans forward slightly, looking as if she was telling the truth. She seemed to be insistent in providing some help.

"I-if it's not too much then... okay." You accept her help, hesitantly. You think that it's more rude if you reject her when she's already going out of her way to offer you help. She grabs the last bag and then stands next to you, stopped.

"W-well, take the lead, I suppose.." She says as she waits for you to start walking. When you start to walk towards the house, she follows along your steps.

"S-so, your name is..?" You ask her, still shy and worried about seeming weird and sounding awful.

"S-sucrose.." She says, still shy and clearly flustered. You see her gripping the bag she was holding on her hand tightly, you start to wonder why. Does she find you awful to talk to? You start to worry and get all sorts of thoughts in your head.

"Sorry..." You apologize.

"Hm? What for?" She asks, but this time, her voice was not shaky. It seems that she gets quite serious for things that are going in a serious direction.

"...For dragging you along.." You explain. You must've ruined all her day's plans. And thinking about that thought just makes you even more awful.

"N-no! I don't mind at all..! In fact, I'm quite okay with it!" She says, smiling slightly, trying to comfort and reassure you. It did indeed ease your worries for a bit.

"I, see... then that's good.." You sigh in relief and you saw that you both neared the house of the person who requested these materials. You step in front of the door, Sucrose still follows along.

"E-excuse me..! Your requested materials are here..!" You say, knocking on the front door. The owner of the house steps outside, payment on her hands, with a smile on her face.

"Thank you so much for making and delivering them!" She grabs the bags you both were holding and hands over the payment. Mainly, mora and a little bracelet. You smile at her and wave goodbye. She enters the house and closes the door behind her.

You and her step away from the house and start to go back into the alchemy table, or where Sucrose's post is. Walking in silence, you admire the workmanship placed or done into these houses. They're all mostly the same, but different at the same time. Darting your thoughts somewhere else, you didn't even notice that you've already reached your location.

"W-well, thank you for your help..!" You bow and thank Sucrose who kindly offered her help. 

"It's fine..! And... t-thank you for your time! Even if it was just a short time, i-it was fun..!" She smiles at you as she also bows. You put the empty bags in your pocket as you reach out your hand, attempting to make a handshake with her. Her hands shaking, she accept it and shakes your hand.

"I-I guess, we'll meet each other soon..?" You say, hoping that you do in fact meet up with her soon. Maybe even have dinner with her and slowly develop your relationship with her into something else.

"..Mhm! I'll be waiting for you here!" She smiles at you, sweetly, clearly happy at what you've just said. You turn you back on her as you start to go back towards the adventurer's guild. You face towards her again, and wave goodbye at her.

She smiles sweetly once again while she was waving her hand. You smile back at her and then turn back in front of you. This coincidental encounter has managed to make you cheerful. Perhaps you and her had really good chemistry.
