[Modern AU.]

"You're late." He says, standing with his arms crossed, his foot tapping on the hard concrete floors of the train station, seemingly annoyed by your tardiness. You grimace slightly, a little scared of the aura he's emitting.

"Sorry. Kind of overslept for a bit." You say in reply, awkwardly chuckling as you scratch your head. He isn't exactly so nice and upfront with his words but, if you get to know him long enough, you'd know that he's actually nice inside.

"Whatever. Just don't be late next time." He says, sighing. His name was Xiao and, to put it simply, he was your boyfriend. Someone who was like a mythical thing, something that was too good to be true but, with a lot of getting to know each other, rough confessions, you two came to a conclusion.

It wasn't such a huge love story. It was nothing like petals falling down from blooming trees, or peer pressure from possible witnesses, not even something as simple as meeting up on the roof due to a letter and confessing each other's love. It was something easy and casual, putting it into words and the other accepting.

Even without such a grandeur display of affection, your relationship with each other is sweeter than ever.  As you'd expect from a couple. It's not about how it starts, it's about the experience in the middle, and the possible ending. Suddenly, Xiao turns his back on you, his ears unusually red.

"We rarely meet each other. I'd like it if the free time we have can be spent together as much as possible." He mutters, although being clear as day for you. You sigh with smile, approaching and hugging him from behind before saying,

"Okay." He then flinches feeling the touch of your hands wrap around his body, but eventually calms down and lets himself drown in your warmth. Soon enough, he pushes your hands away before looking at you again, his cheeks having a little tint of red. You could almost giggle about how adorable he looks but he might take it the wrong way.

"So, what do you want to do? Surely not something as cliché as watching a movie." He says, glaring at you as if he was hoping that wasn't the case. You were practically all-knowing about certain clichés that you wouldn't even want to think about them.

"Of course not. I've thought long and hard about this date since, as you said, we rarely have time for each other." You smirk, teasing him a little with the way you worded it. He then squirms, his hand gripping his arm.

"W-what did you think of doing then?" He asks, his eyes closed and his face looking so obviously flustered. He then opens his eyes, hearing the sound of papers ruffling in your pouch. You then take out two pairs of tickets, showing it to him.
