Genshin Impact || Oneshots !

fluff & angst ━ ' , daybreak frontline , ' ━ aether x venti

(A/N: Modern AU. I'm so sorry if this is such a mess. I'm currently working on 2 other fanfics, and my finals week is ending so yeah. Sorry.)

"Aether, quickly!" Venti says, hopping into the Aether's convertible car, excitedly, but more worried on getting caught.

"I'm coming!" Aether says, running towards Venti while bringing 2 bags with him. He then threw the bags at the back and quickly went to the front seat as he then started the car.

"Now, step on the gas pedal and go!" Venti says, raising his hand into the air in excitement. Aether then follows his request and off they go, driving into the unknown horizon. It was night time as well, probably past midnight since they didn't want to get caught by anyone.

Both of them took the time to plan this whole 'journey' out. The bags that Aether had brought with him were food, drinks, clothes, and possibly anything they needed, especially money. He even brought a gas can to refill his car when needed. And most importantly, he had Venti.

They've just been in a very bad place, mentally and emotionally. Suffered from too many eyes and expectations placed upon them. Then, they both met each other at their school. Bumping into one another, suffering the same things, feeling the same things, and tired of everything and everyone.

Maybe this was fate bringing both of them together. When they decided to talk to each other, they quickly became friends, best friends, and after a few months of hanging out, they started dating. Ranting, venting, and talking about anything and everything is just something they both do when they meet up.

Either in cafes, the school cafeteria, the rooftop, their houses, and literally anywhere they can think of. Not only does Aether have his own car, but he also has a lot of money from working on a lot of part-time jobs. Venti had his own funds from saving up as well as he was also an artist, making music here and there that brought him money. 

Until one day, everything just got so overwhelming for Venti that he just screamed out that he wanted to go away. He wanted to run away and leave everything behind. Start anew in some other place, somewhere better than where they currently are. Aether then offered to him to do exactly what he wants.

Aether had felt the same thing. He kept thinking that he wanted to escape from the same old joyless, repeating days, where they had nothing to do but keep on reminiscing the past and the problems they've experienced.
