It was a normal sunny day in Liyue. Trees swaying, glaze lilies and silk flowers blooming, and people out and about. However, there was one boy that absolutely hated this. Chongyun. Feeling the heat touch his skin was making him sick, but of course, he had to deal with it.
He wanted to find his best friend, Xingqiu. Who was mostly always reading a book. Every time you see him, you look at him, or just walk by him, he always has a book in his hand. Despite that seemingly cold and kind demeanor, he also had a 'mean' side to him. Chongyun, out of all people, knows that best.
Speak of the devil, Chongyun stumbles upon a Xingqiu, who was leaning his back on the wall near the site where the Rite of Descension took place. His eyes were practically glued to the book he was reading. Little movements of shock, faces and reactions of amazement, you could tell that he was enjoying what he was reading.
Chongyun decides to just watch him from afar, not wanting to disturb him. Xingqiu did want his "moments of solitude" every now and then. Just...observing from afar. Seeing and looking at all his features. His blue hair, his perfect body, his discernable outfit, it's almost as if━
Chongyun blushes intensely. He notices Xingqiu about to turn to his direction so, he immediately sits down on the grass as to not be clearly visible, even though his outfit was really obvious. A million thoughts run throughout his mind. He was looking way too much. Too much for his heart, at least. He started to stand up, until━
"Hey~~" Someone menacingly whispers in his ear as they grab onto Chongyun's shoulder.
"AHP━!" Chongyun stumbles onto the ground as he screamed. He scratches his head and then looks upwards. Looking upwards, he was greeted by an adorable person laughing out loud.
"HAHAHA━! O-oh my... dear Chongyun, you get scared too easily!" Xingqiu says as he kept on laughing with his hand in front of his mouth.
"It's not funny..!" Chongyun pouts and looks away, tears in his eyes.
"Seriously... you almost gave me a heart attack.." Chongyun says as he puts his hand on his chest and sighs.
"It's fine, it's fine!" Xingqiu says with a large smile. Well, more like a mischievous grin.
