fluff ━ ' , on guard , ' ━ aether x razor

There were two little adventurers just walking around the areas of the region of Mondstadt. Scurrying around to find treasures or anything they could be satisfied with and finally return back home. Aether and Razor were switching from time to time, to someone who was on the look out for enemies, while the other was finding treasure.

They kept on doing this for more than 30 minutes already and yet, not a single treasure has been found. The two boys were slightly depressed with the results but Paimon, just cheered them up and kept saying to "keep looking around". The two of them put their hopes up and looked around with high expectations.

Since Mondstadt was a pretty big area, there were bound to be a few treasures here and there. There were a lot of treasure hoarder camps, hilichurl camps, domains, and basically anything that could be filled with Mora, or better yet, treasure. Those thoughts kept them going and made them want to search even more.

But an hour later, with half of the region almost fully searched, there was nothing. Not a single valuable item. There were times where there was Mora and meat just lying around so, they thought that that might've been leading to something. And yet nothing at all.

The two just stood under a tree, in disbelief, losing their motivation and hope. Even Paimon was getting slightly depressed with the results. 1 hour and 30 minutes and absolutely nothing turned up. Don't you just hate going on an adventure and there was nothing to be taken? They sure did hate that. Aether sighs.

"Well this has been... uneventful." Aether says while giving out an awkward laugh. Razor just frowns at this. Aether notices it and feels kind of bad to have seen him look so sad. But suddenly━

"Right, I brought us a picnic! For breaks and such." Aether smiles sweetly at Razor as the other boy then smiles with his eyes sparkling. Aether, looking proud, he lays down the picnic blanket and then puts down the picnic basket with it. 

"Come on! Sit!" He says, patting the area next to him. Razor happily sits down and then waits for the food Aether was going to bring out of the basket. Meanwhile, Aether suddenly looks up and looks around.

"Paimon's asleep? That's rare, she usually wakes up the moment she smells food." Aether shrugs his shoulders and dismisses it. But he suddenly flinches seeing Razor, sparkling eyes, wagging his imaginary tail, waiting for the food. Aether smiles.

"Would you like to eat?" He asks, looking at the boy, while holding the basket's opening. Razor just nods repeatedly as Aether chuckles at this.
