"Come on! Ms. Lisa is going to be mad at us!" You hear two females running as they shout it out loud. You were quite confused as to what the commotion was. Were they getting arrested? Did they do something illegal? Questions kept running through your mind as you walked towards the General Goods Store.
You were just out to get some vegetables and spices to make meals back at your house. But since you were running out, you decided to go to the General Goods Store to buy some more. So, you headed on over there and greeted Blanche as you then started to pick out vegetables.
"Excuse me, could I have cabbages, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions? 5 each." You say, starting to take out your wallet.
"Anything else?" You hear her speak, asking a question which slightly startled you.
"Um... how about some salt and pepper? 1 of each, please." You say, taking out your money, hoping to get the exact price. As you wait for all of it, you simply watch her. She was putting the vegetables in separate plastic bags. One for potatoes, one for the cabbages, and basically like that for everything. After, she places them all in one big plastic bag. Once you see that it's done, you get your money and get ready to give it to her.
"Here are your orders! Thank you!" She smiles at you as she hands the plastic bag over. You take it from her and then give her the money. You start walking out of the area but then━
"Oh, I'm so sorry..!" The two females that were previously running before, bumped into you, completely dropping the plastic bag and some, or most of the vegetables in it. But instead of coming to help you, they run away from the scene. Seeing them do so, just made you super frustrated and wanted to chase after them but, you thought it was useless to do so.
You sigh, feeling down at what just happened. You slowly take the vegetables from the ground, while people just kept staring at you. You were looking down, avoiding eye contact but you could see that they were just looking at you with pity in their eyes, yet not actually helping you.
