It's finally Saturday. Today I take Eva out on a date. I hope she likes what I have planned. I decided we can go to the river and have a picnic. Then we can go to the pier and play some games and eat cotton candy. I told her I would pick her up at 5 it's currently...crap it's 4:35 I have to go.
I ran out of the house and into my car. I drove to the address she gave me. I got there just in time. She came out and she looked amazing. She was wearing a black butterfly crop top and baggy jeans with holes.
"Hey" she said getting in the car.
"Hey. You look amazing" I said hugging her.
"Thank you. So where are we going?" She said buckling her seat belt.
"Well that's a surprise so let's go"
I started the car and drove away from her house. I already had the picnic set up and ready for us so we didn't have to make any unnecessary stops.
When we got close her face lit up.
"Are we going to the lake?!" She said smiling super wide.
"Yeah. Exited?" I said smiling.
"Well duh!" She said.
I pulled up next to our spot I had set up. She immediately got out and sat down.
We ate and talked getting to know each other even more than we already have. I honestly don't know how much longer we can go talking about ourselves. When we finished eating I told her we were leaving again and she was confused.
"Now where are we going? Wasn't this our date?"she said confused.
"Well yeah,part of it anyway" I said smiling putting my hand out to help her up.
We got into the car and drove to the petit she got super exited when I parked.
"Your literally amazing" she said with a huge smile.
"Well c'mon let's go" I said getting out of the car.
I went around to her and grabbed her hand dragging her to the games. I immediately ran to the claw machines to win her a prize. I know these things are usually rigged but I was determined to win her a prize.
"Ok pick a prize" I said putting quarters in the machine.
"Really? These things are rigged" she said.
"So you don't think I can do it?" I said with confidence.
"Ok whatever you say...um the pink cow" she said pointing at it.
"Okay bet" I said starting the game.
The classic carnival music started and the claw machine counted down and it started. I moved the knob towards the pink cow she wanted. When I got it to where I needed it to be I pressed the drop bottom. Surprisingly I grabbed it but right when it got to the hole it fell out of the claw.
"Dammit!" I said hitting the machine.
"Try again" Eva said putting her hand on my shoulder.
I put another quarter in and pressed start. The music started it counted down. I barley had to move the claw to get it above the cow. I got it right above the center of the cow and lowered the claw. I pressed the grab button and got it again. I pressed drop and the cow dropped in the hole.
"Yayyyy!" She yelled grabbing the cow.
"Thank you" she said
"Your welcome. Now c'mon let's play some more and ride rides" I said putting my arm around her shoulder and leading her to the other games. We walked around playing games and getting tickets. At one point we got cotton candy and took pictures. Then she said we should ride the Farris wheel. We got in line and just talked until we got to the front of the line.
"Next!" The guy called.
We walked up and gave him our tickets. Eva got on and I asked the guy a question.
"Hey can you stop us at the top for like a minute" I slipped him a 100 dollar bill hoping he'd agree.
"Sure you have a minute" he said taking the money.
I only asked him to stop us so I can maybe try and kiss her. I got on next to her and the ride started. We eventually got to the top and stayed there like the guy promised. I looked over at Eva and we made eye contact. I slowly leaned in and so did she. I gave in and kissed her slowly.
"Woah" she said pulling away
I just giggled.
"This is the best date ever" she said again.
"Speaking of wanna go on another?" I asked
"What? Of course I do!" She said as we got off the ride.
"Ok so come to my house on Friday and we'll have a movie date?" I said
"Ok I will" she said
We left the pier and I brought her home. We said goodbye and she got out of the car. Today was amazing I can't wait until we grow our relationship our bond is already really strong and I feel like I've known her for years. This girl is incredible and I've fallen so hard for her in a month.
