Chapter 14

1 week later-
Anna-
I woke up to a text from my mom. SHES COMING HOME EARLY! I'm so excited to see her. I wonder why she's coming home early though she's supposed to be gone for another month. Don't get me wrong I'm really excited to see her I just wonder why she's coming home early. Well it is what it is and I get to see my mom. I need to tell Eva. I rolled over and she was still sleeping.

"Eva. Eva. Eva guess what" I said shaking her.

"What what's wrong" she said rubbing her eyes.

"You get to meet my mom today!" I said excitedly.

"Wait really but she's on a business trip" she said confused.

"Yea but she texted me and said she's coming home early. I'm not sure why but she's coming and you get to meet her" I said.

"Okay well let's get ready so I can make a good impression" she said

"Ok but don't put on an act. And also I don't know what to introduce you as because we aren't officially dating and I want to be but we aren't yet so are we friends? Or what?" I asked

"Well I would love to be your girlfriend. And we've already admitted we love each other... so we might as well be dating" she said. Wait so should I ask her now?

"Eva-"

"Yes Anna" she said

"Will you be my girlfriend. I know this isn't very special but I just thought maybe it was the right time. I'll ask again in a better way but I would love to introduce you as my girlfriend to my mom" I said in one breath.

"Yes Anna of course I'll be your girlfriend and there's no need to be extravagant all you needed to do was ask I would've said yes the day we met" she said and kissed me.

"Well let's go get dressed" I said

1 hour later-

Eva-
The doorbell just rang and my heart is beating out of my chest. I'm super nervous to meet Anna's mom. I really hope she likes me and approves of our relationship. Anna opened the door and gave her mom a big hug.

"Hi mom!" Anna said

"Oh hello sweetie I missed you" her mom said.

"Mom I have someone I want you to meet" Anna said pulling her mom over to me.

"Hi ms shumate" I said putting my hand for her to shake.

"Hello? And who are you?" She said shaking my hand.

"Mom this is Eva. She's my girlfriend." Anna said.

"Oh hello Eva. It's very nice to meet you." She said

"It's nice to meet you too ms shumate" I said.

"Ok Eva, mom I'm going to make lunch and we can talk and you guys can get to know each other" Anna said going to the kitchen. But before she got there she stopped in her tracks.

"Also mom, how long are you going to be home?" Anna asked.

"Well I actually quit my job and I got a new one at the diner" she said happily.

"Wait really?! So I get to see you everyday?" Anna asked super excited.

"Yea pretty much" her mom said with a big smile.
Anna ran to the kitchen and began cooking. Me and her mom just talked about Anna. I told her about how Anna saved me from dev and how she was super sad when her business trip was extended.

After about an hour of talking Anna called for us saying that dinner was ready.

"Wow Anna this looks really good" her mom said.

"Thank you mom"

"Yea Anna this looks amazing" I said sitting down.

"So Anna I heard you were upset when my trip was extended." Her mom said.

"Well yea of course I was. Your like the only person I have besides Eva and we barely see each other. I just missed you" Anna said.

"I missed you too honey" her mom said.

"Eva thank you for keeping Anna company while I was gone" her mom said looking at me.

"Well she kept me company too and she saved me so it was the least I could do" I said smiling at Anna.
The rest of lunch we just talked and I got to know Anna's mom. She seems to like me. And I like her. Anna definitely gets her spark from her mom. Soon it got dark and me and Anna fell asleep cuddling.
