Chapter 12

Eva-
Dev brought me to an old motel 6 in Hanauma bay. This is my favorite place by why would she bring me here? Was it to hide me? If it was from what or who? Anna thinks I'm dead and I don't think the cops know that I'm missing. Well she's definitely hiding me from someone or else she wouldn't have let me out of her sight. I've been just sitting in my hotel room for the past few days. I really miss Anna. She's probably broken.

Anna-
My flight just landed. The whole time I've been thinking about everything Eva told me. Favorite place...favorite place...? In Hawaii? WAIT! Hanauma bay! She talked about taking me there one day. She said it's super pretty and that she's been there once with her family on vacation. I gotta tell officer pierce. He's the police officer heading this investigation. The one I've been talking to the past few days. When I got off the plane is immediately got his attention.

"Officer pierce!" I yelled

"What Anna what's wrong?" He said worried.

"Earlier I got a text saying Eva wasn't with the person who's phone you pinged. They said she's at her favorite place in Hawaii. I was thinking the whole way here and she always told me it was Hanauma bay." I said out of breathe from running.

"Ok we'll go there now" He said taking out his phone.

"Who are you calling?" I asked walking with him.

"My driver" he said.

"Yes I need a ride to Hanauma bay immediately" he said. I couldn't here but before he hung up he said ok see you soon. We waited for about 5 minutes and a black car with dark tinted windows drive up to us. Pierce got in and told me to get in. I got in and pierce told the driver to go to the place.

1 hour later-

We finally arrived at the bay. She's right this place was beautiful.

"Where do you think she could be?" Pierce said.

"I don't think the her kidnapper let her choose where she wanted to be held captive." I said.

"Ok so we will check every hotel and condo every where we can. I promise you we will find her." He said.

"Thank you pierce" I said.
We drove to every hotel and nothing. We got to an old motel 6 on the far side of the bay pretty close to the water. I really hope she's here. We went in the main office and talked to the front desk manager.

"Hi I'm officer pierce. We are looking for a young lady named Eva cudmore." Pierce said.

"Yea or anyone by the name devyn winkler?" I asked.

"Well no Eva but there was a devyn" the lady said. " the room number is 682" she said and gave us a key.

"Thank you so much" I said.
Me and pierce went upstairs and looked for room 682. We found it at the very end of the hall.

"Wanna do the honors?" Pierce said handing me the room key.

"Um yeah- yeah sure" I said hesitating.

"You got this okay? Go get your girl back." He said
I slowly put the card in the slot. The light turned green and I grabbed the handle. I took a deep breath preparing myself for the worst. I opened and saw Eva... she's sleeping peacefully... did she really leave me? But why was the room under devs name? I slowly walked up to her.

"Eva..." I said slightly shaking her.
"Eva" I said again a little louder.
She opened her eyes and immediately jumped in my arms. I've missed her warmth.

"Anna... I'm so sorry. Dev forced me out of the diner and onto the plane she didn't even tell me where we were going. I'm so sorry i never wanted to leave you Anna. I never want to. Anna I love you..." she said in one breath.

"I- I love you too. I missed you more than words could explain. I thought you died. Dev texted me saying you got killed in a shoot out I went to the police station and officer pierce helped me find you."I said

"Pierce I can't thank you enough" I said looking at him.

"No need to thank me I was just doing my job" he said.
I just held Eva in my arms. She's not even my girlfriend and I couldn't go 3 days without her. So much power over me in just a month and a half? This girl is something else and I love every little thing about her.
We went to devs location and she got arrested. I helped Eva gather her things that dev brought her. We got back in the car with pierces driver and went back to the airport. Me and Eva were connected at the hip. I didn't leave her side. I wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend but I don't think now is a great time. She's been through so much already the past few days and I don't want to throw a big question at her. I will eventually though...

So this chapter was long. Sorry for another cliffhanger. The rest of the story will be them rebuilding there connection and some ups and downs with them. I don't want to spoil to much.
