I used to think poetry would jinx all beautiful thingsThat if I wrote about happy, you would get up and leave
My I love you's sometimes need to repeat
To be heard an odd number of times so we do not die in our sleep
Sometimes I convince myself I caught the plague
And there will be times where you must remember our better days
You say there is no normal, but I know there is crazy
