Henry Cavill Book 3 (completed)

our child has a Nightmare

After getting Cayden feed Henry took him upstairs and bathed him. While I got everything downstairs taken care of.

Once that was done I headed upstairs and watched as Henry &  Cayden brushed their teeth. I noticed that Cayden was in his superman pjs which when he saw them he asked Henry if he could have them so he could be like him and be superman.

"Alright Cayden its time for bed, so let's get you tucked in, read a story, then lights out," I tell him

"Alright mommy," he says as he hops down off the last step and walks over to me taking my hand, and leads me to his room.

Once I had him tucked in Henry came in along with Kal and gave Cayden a kiss goodnight while Kal took to his corner where he now sleeps and curled into a ball of fur.

I sat beside Cayden and read him a story. It wasn't too long till he went right to sleep so I slipped out quietly making sure his superman nightlight was on.

Henry and I were curled up together sleeping when I heard a faint sound so I woke and looked up seeing Cayden standing at the door with Kal beside him.

"What's wrong Cayden?" I asked quietly in or to not disturb Henry sleeping.

"I had a nightmare," he says

"Alright, come on over and cuddle up with me, I will protect you," I tell him.

He walks in and shuts the door before he climbs up into the bed. I cover him up and snuggle him close.

"I promise you that your nightmare will not come true, mommy and daddy won't let any harm come your way," I tell him

He nods his head and Curls closer before going right to sleep.

I hear and feel Herny waking up so I look back at him.

"What happened?" Henry asks

"He had a nightmare so I told him to come and cuddle with me then told him me and you would never allow anything bad to happen to him that his nightmare won't come true due to that," I tell Henry.

He scoots closer and wraps his arms around me and Cayden so we all three are cuddled close together.

"I will protect him and you with my life," Henry says

"I know that and so does he," I tell Henry

We both fall asleep cuddled close.

Some time in the middle of the Night Henry backed up and Cayden crawled over me and laid between his daddy & me and snuggled up with Henry so I got closer and wrapped my arm around the two of them before going to sleep.
