little restaurant

I watched as little Esme pulled her wooden table over towards her play restaurant and brought her red and yellow foldable chairs over and placed them across from each other.

I smiled as I watched her not having a clue what she was up to but just getting entertained but her determined expression that she wore.

Once she had everything set up she headed upstairs and moments later Henry came walking down the stairs with Kal by his side.

"What are you up to?" I asked

"It's break time and daddy needs to come eat along with you," she says

"What's on the menu?" I asked

"Well you two have to sit at the table and I will bring you the menu" she replied

 so I walk over and record Herny squatting down and sitting on the little chair.

I cracked up at the image and he just glared at me.

I stopped recording and I took a seat on the yellow chair.

"Hello and welcome to Esme's kitchen, I'll be your server," she says as she hands us a cute little handmade menu

"Hello" we greet

"I will give you a few minutes to go over the menu," she says then walks off

I looked up at Henry and seen him looking at Esme with a proud smile on his face. I looked down and looked over the menu and loved how she spelled things.

haw hogs,enchie ries, buger with chese. watr, pop

I snapped pictures of the whole setup and the menu.

"Alright had you look over the menu?" she asked

"Yes ma'am," Henry says

"Wat can I get ya?" she asked

"I'll take a haw hog with watr" he tells her

She writes it down on her little paper pad with a crayon

"And you mommy?" she asked

"can I have the buger with chese and pop please?" I asked

" it will be about ten seonds" she says

then takes the menus and walks off.

"That would be the quickest service I'd ever experienced," Henry says

I chuckled and nodded in agreement.

Ten seconds later Esme walked over with two tiny plates with the buger & haw hog"

"Um excuse me this is really tiny, how are we to get full?" henry asked

I lightly kicked him with my foot making him look at me and I arched my brow at him.

"I mean thank you," he says

She smiles at him

"Your welcome give me three secons and I'll ring the drinks," she says

"Thank you, Esme," I tell her

She smiled and walked off.

"Play along, don't break her heart," I tell Henry

"I'm sorry, I will play along," he says

"Thank you" I replied

"Welcome," he says

She comes back and places two empty cups before us.

I take a huge bite of my burger and make it disappear then down my drink watching as Henry does the same.

"it will be 25 dollars" she say

"Why so much?" Henry asked

"I have to keep in bizzness" Esme replied

I smirked and handed her a toy card.

"Tanks," she says

she walks off And I put the burger in the cup and henry does the same before we clean our mess until she walks back.

"Here you card," she says

I take it

"Thank you so much miss," I tell her

"welcome mommy," she says

she gathers the dishes and walks off while Henry and I stand and stretch our long limbs from being on the tiny chairs.
